We live in Bury and came for a walk with the dogs along the canal went to the hopwood arms and read the menu, I feel bad saying this but googled pubs near by serving food and the Houghton Arms came up so we went there, the food was excellent had baked camembert to share for a starter came will 2 warm rolls for dipping one brown and one white it was delicious, then had a steak each from the specials board was cooked just as we asked. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, will definitely visit again.
