A most excellent stop off for Wonderful food and specialist roasted coffee. The welcome is very warm and the service is first class. The menu is changed from time to time and additions made which can be requested to be left off. A firm ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Borderline Eleven 😎
Really nice dog friendly pub. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Would defo return again. Nice little beer garden.
Got here just as they were opening for the day. Came with my dog (the whole pub is dog friendly) and spoke to the owner who was a very welcoming man. Had a bite to eat and sat outside, great experience.
Quite little pub in a picturesque village with good food. Perfect stop of if you're planning a walk around the ings.
Use to be a frequent visitor for many years when Trevor, Jane and family had the pub, when they moved out it went downhill drastically and we only visited once after that! We heard it was under new management with Sharon at the helm and Shaun back in the kitchen so we gave it a try and was not disap
It sad to see this lovely little pub not busy. The landlady was welcoming. It just needs people to go in & use the place. It opens at 12 noon every day. Opening times information on the Internet is incorrect.
Just been for a taster evening for the new menu on offer from Wednesday 19th May 2021. The food was very tasty, well presented and served with a smile! Can't wait to go back and try different dishes. The Landlord and his team have certainly worked hard. As usual excellent handpulled beers. Would hig
Great drinks and bar service. Good limited to pizza’s and sandwiches until they get a chef on board. Great atmosphere though well worth a visit.
Visited for lunch today with our son who has additional needs. Excellent experience. The food was lovely and the staff were very helpful and understanding of our son's needs. The covid safety measures were all in place and we were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely return
A friendly village pub. Pleasantly surprised by £3 for a pint of Wainwright’s Golden Beer when many other pubs charge nearly £5. Good food although not a great choice on Sundays but if you like a traditional Sunday dinner this is the place to go.
Just a wee snecklifter as I was passing. Well worth a return visit.
Went last night for a meal with my husband. It was the first night of the new menu and the first week of the new chef. Well actually the old chef when the food was good. We can honestly say that it was the best meal we had there in years. I had halibut with a bacon and mushroom sauce and my husband
Nice beef baguette, propper chips!
Only found out how great this place was a couple of weeks before the Covid-19 lockdown came into force, however the owner has worked tirelessly to keep the place going throughout. The food we’ve ordered has been amazing and the mini kegs of beer are a great idea. Highly recommended.
