Love sumo, been coming here for years and recently decided to get a takeaway, I got the sushi platter and katsu curry (classic), great portions and had loads of left over curry to enjoy the next day 🤣✨ Sushi is always fresh made and delicious and I love that they do takeaway option (you must collect, no delivery). Can be quite quiet in the restaurant sometimes which makes you feel like you also have to talk really quietly as it's a small room but wouldn't put me off going as the food is amazing. Staff are so friendly and attentive. 🍣 🍙

The food was fantastic and the service from the owner was absolutely fantastic, although I have to be honest here there was a waitress who I'm assuming is relatively new, and her attitude left a lot to be desired and she just acted like me and my friends were a hindrance at her worth rather than customers. Really disappointed as the food was top notch and everyone else was absolutely fantastic.

My family and I visited and we loved it. My wife wasn’t sure if the kids would have much as they can be selective at times, they absolutely loved it as there was such a wide and varied menu to select from. For a family of 5 we spent £85 inc drinks, 3 of us had mains, one of the kids had 3 starters to try new things and the youngest one had a starter and a bowl of chips to pick at, we had some inari nigiri too which was amazing. We will definitely be returning. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Quick, friendly service. Nice and clean dining area, simple Japanese decoration. Ordered shrimp gyoza, miso soup, sweet chilli tofu (with fried rice) and rich & spicy ramen. All dishes were tasty, fresh and with good presentation. Nice tea too. Left with a full stomach and a great first impression, will certainly come back soon and highly recommend for others to try.

Fantastic service, food served very fast. Price point is high so could only give 4 stats as i feel it is slightly overpriced for deep fried veg, however flavour is great, crispy tempura. Lots of options for traditional Japanese style cousine. I recommend going during lunch time as it can get very busy in the evening. Will definitely recommend and will revisit.
