Fantastic atmosphere, tasty wine, food good but a bit over priced. A great place for a romantic candle lit treat.

Excellent food, great setting and perfect service. The mussels were some of the best we've ever had, the fish and seafood broth was incredible and included giant scallops, and the duck was amazingly tender. Great wine selection and friendly but not overbearing service. Highly recommended

Incredibly moody in all the best of ways! The underground setting, the warm and low lighting that lends itself beautifully to the feeling of an intimate and cozy setting, and even a customized twist on the entrée to accommodate my love for blue cheeses. Wonderful server with knowledge of the menu, the food was great with lots of flavours that complimented each other, and portions were big enough to be full afterwards. Both food and drink menu spans across several levels of prices, so while higher end, it does not have to be excessively expensive. That said, this is not the place to go if you'd like something cheap and easy, rowdy and lively crowds, or a pub-like setting. We went on a Thursday right after it opened for the evening. We had a table reservation, but would not have needed it it that particular day, at least at that hour. Even after two groups arrived later on, the room we were in felt intimate and cozy. The low ceilings and plentiful decorations had the noise level staying comfortable, none of the echoing you might get in larger, more open rooms. Very much recommended, and hope to be back some day.

Le Cave is a wonderful restaurant. The food is exceptional, and the service is as good as you'll get anywhere. Atmosphere is something that you pay for, and to be in a candlelit subterranean restaurant is well worth the money. No, it's not cheap, so I guess most people won't be coming here twice a week, but for a really, really nice meal out - this is our place to go in Falmouth. Thoroughly recommended.

We love the atmosphere to begin with. The service is something I have not experienced in a long time and I’m out in restaurants all the time. It was our wedding anniversary so ordered the cocktails we had when we first met. Asking a lot as they are not on the menu but out they came. Ment a lot to us. Onion soup fab along with fat juicy musssels for starter. Main course of hake with tarragon simply cascaded over the plate, truly flipping gorgeous. I ordered steak and frits, again gorgeous too. Desert classic Crème brûlée super soft and creamy on the inside, super. Wine and champnage good price and quality. Examplary service, not rushed. Go and enjoy!

This place is an eating experience! The food is way above the best of Falmouth and is consistent which is fantastic. I wish I could rate it at 6 stars!! Me and my family go once a month with different friends or clients, it's always good, I can't recommend enough!!

Bliss. This is one of my favourite places to eat on the planet. The music, the decor, the service and, dear gods, the food. I've enjoyed two iterations of their menu a few times each and every one of those times I've run headfirst into some form of decision seizure: just reading the descriptions of the Moules Normandes, the Plat de Coquillages are enticement enough to salivate. The dishes themselves are exquisite, balanced silencing the mouth while they quicken the palate. Whatever pain results from having to choose from the delectable food and (French and comprehensive) wine menus is eased only by the knowledge that you can simply come again.
