A really lovely restaurant in a nice setting. The service was good and the staff were really friendly. Booked on a Tuesday (steak night only) which we were not aware of so limited menu otherwise would have been 5 stars. Saying this the menu was still substantial enough with lots of variety of starters and deserts. Wine list was good think a taxi will be booked next time so that a bottle can be enjoyed as only 3 reds were available by the glass. The food was all presented nicely and had great flavours throughout. Very enjoyable meal will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Thanks

Very accommodating, friendly and helpful staff, we were a party of 4 ordering from across the menu and were not disappointed with anything we chose, well presented, perfectly prepared and served promptly. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Superb restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, superb food and excellent staff! It’s worth the visit and I will most definitely be returning; whether it be for another meal or a drink at the bar!

Well if you want a great meal this is the place to go. Seeing you are looking it up you have some idea where the place is. So here is what I/we thought of the experience, we called and asked if they could accommodate around 13 of us for a family meal on a Sunday. Luckily we wanted to eat late afternoon so they said it was not a problem. Right from the start we had a good feeling about this place prompt response to the emails etc. We got there to eat and a friendly welcome and no pressure to make your mind up what was good seeing the choice of food, being a Sunday roasts was the main option so most of us went for the beef or belly pork which I had. Both was served with a great selection of vegetables and Yorkshire puds. The reports on the beef was it was cooked perfectly all I can say about the Belly Pork was it absolutely bloody marvelous crackling was wonderful. One of the kids had a burger which he just couldn't manage. No room for dessert good choice of beer cider and wine as well all in all everyone went home happy and full. We will be back and if you are still sitting on the fence after reading this you need a little push the olives and squid are a good starter.

We have been before and tonight we were not let down. A beautiful meal at a good price. My hangar steak was out of this world, properly cooked and served. Can't recommend this place highly enough

Interesting, slightly quirky place. All three of us had fantastic food. Service was a bit wonky - staff forgot a couple of times but very friendly and happy. It added to our fun evening to be honest. Parking is an issue though. It's wedged in to a residential area. It was hard to identify where we could park in the dark as all the spaces seemed to be residents only. Eventually found a street that was wide enough to park in the road but it took about 15min to get sorted and then walk there.

This is a very cosy place to meet up with friends for a drink. Nicely situated in the heart of Knowle village. There is a small selection of games and books to play/read whilst visiting here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The drinks, whilst not the cheapest, were reasonable priced and were nicely made. There was a selection of bar snacks available, along with a small selection of alcoholic beverages, along with the usual hot and cold soft drinks. The dining area looked pleasant, but can't review the food as we didn't eat here.
