Staff are always amazing. Been going there for ages at least once a month . Food always fantastic.

It feels to me like they have mastered the art of satisfying your tastebuds, the food is the best in fareham! Staff always friendly good draft beer and great selction of other drinks. Overall perfect place to take your family for a great meal!

When we think about celebrations, Indian cottage fareham is always our first option and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding, lamb chops and the biryani might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10

We only had take out. I removed a star due to the cleaningless of the takeout menus which were sticking and had food in between the pages.
However the food was tasty. We will return for a sit down meal. Hopefully the menus will have had a wipe by then.

I have visited Indian Cottage many times and there’s a reason why I keep coming back. The food is outstanding and the service is incredible. I would recommend this restaurant to those who are looking for an affordable and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

For a Tuesday it was reasonably busy. The food was good if not spectacular and as a group of 4, we all thought it was expensive in relation to what we had compared to other cuzza houses we visit.

What a great spot! The staff were welcoming and friendly. We stopped on a Saturday evening without a reservation and they were fantastic in finding us a table. The food was great and we felt well looked after throughout our visit. Would recommend without hesitation!

Ignore the outside and do go in, you will not be disappointed.
Friendly efficient service, lots of choice on the menu, quick service and plentiful portions.
Reasonably priced and great quality.

Been there with my wife., yesterday.
Place is nice, cozy, family ran business for over 40 years!!
Food is tasty, starter with chutney s and lime pickle mind blowing! So good!
A bit disappointed with portions though.
Yeah, they brought us rice with mains but at the end of the day I had the feeling that behind the "fine dining experience", they were just robbing us :)
I have ordered a pinot noir 2021, (medium low range/ more low then medium) and total bill, ( we haven't had starter or desert) was £90!
What a theft! :))
I know places that for £90 pounds you walk out barely capable to move or speak! With at least a bottle of wine extra! Or aperitifs.
For example Woks wich unfortunately is currently closed. Round the corner.
Yes, I d enjoyed the service and the experience, but I will think twice before go there again.
Not saying I m. Not going back.
But I ll have to consider.
Not really worth it.
Not Michelin, not rosette, paper tissues . Come on!
Portions for mains could be bigger.

Popped in for a curry after visiting the west street ale house just a few doors down.
We hadn't booked but we're welcomed and shown to a spacious table for 4.
Our orders for drinks and food were taken by a very polite young man who read back our order just to check it was correct.
Within minutes our drinks arrived, and our food following shortly after which was very tasty and a good sized portion.
A very reasonable price and due to the very good service a healthy tip was given.
Restaurant was lively but not over noisy and appears to be a regular haunt for many groups.
We will return to sample other tasty dishes in the future

Booked in advance. Had a short wait in bar area where we got our drinks and had a scan of the menu. Starters were excellent, just the right amount so still had room for mains. Bit of a wait for mains, as last day of eat out to help out so understandable, but the waiter was quite sociable so didnt feel that long tbh. Mains were great, I like it spicy and thats what I got. I have been before which is why we went again and were not disappointed. Our new favourite place when we are in Pompey.
