Thank you to Amy and the team - your awesome cake made our Golden Wedding celebration so special.
We arrived just as they were closing for the day and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We purchased some soft baps and a selection of fresh cream cakes which were huge and everything was delicious. We thought that the prices were very fair especially when taking into account the amount of time and labour it takes to make and bake fresh good quality products.
I ordered 2 tray bakes (cakes), one old school cake and one chocolate cake. My god it tasted amazing! It was so light and fluffy!
My friend was leaving work to have a baby so we needed quite a lot of cake for the office. There was none left after about an hour of putting it out!

Lovely little shop, run by a lovely team. Very friendly! I popped in for a coffee and sandwich over my lunch break, however I have also used The Bakery for event catering and they provide and assemble THE BEST grazing boards and afternoon tea boxes. Thank you and see you all soon!

Great cakes, great service!! Recently ordered several large sponges, coffee and walnut, chocolate, Victoria sponge, carrot cake and 2 slices of vegan cake, all of which were delivered to my home as promised, all sliced as I'd requested. The lads at work loved them. Loads of comments about how tasty and how lovely and moist they were. "The best vegan cake I've ever had" was the comment I had from 2 of my work mates. Apparently I have to bring cake in every week now!! Thankyou to all the staff for their great service and tasty treats. We regularly get deep filled rolls from here too, which are always great, especially the breakfast baps!! Thankyou
Delivered Afternoon Tea Fantastic!
Had a beautiful afternoon tea spread for 5 delivered on Sat for Sun birthday. Kept in fridge absolutely fine and everything tasted wonderfully fresh and delicious the next day. Finger rolls, scones with clotted cream and jam, cakes, it was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by all, thank you!
When the office needs treats - we always get them from here. The best cakes in the whole area! Would never go anywhere else.
