Sadlers Catering

Paul & his wonderful family provided food service for our wedding at Oxleaze Barn. The whole process was extremely simple and flexible making them a fab supplier. From our initial meeting we were instantly put at ease and it was clear to see their true passion for food and great service. Sadlers provided a delicious BBQ menu including chorizo Sausages which were to die for, delicious canapès as well as a full spread of desserts and evening pizzas. We have had endless comments about "the best wedding food ever!". We can't recommend them highly enough.

A lovely find at the end of a long circular walk around the fields and paths surrounding Faringdon. Great value, freshly prepared bagels and sandwiches, and plenty of pasty choices. Coffee was good, and your sweet tooth will be amply satisfied too with at least 5 homebaked cakes on offer, flapjacks, donuts, croissants and more when we were there. Will definitely return 👍

I have stopped by twice for a coffee and a sausage roll while out for a cycle. There is a lovely court yard where you can enjoy your beverage and snack, but unfortunately no toilet (this is why only 4 stars). The service is friendly and quick. On my last visit the person who delivered my food offered to fill my water bottle, very thoughtful. The sausage rolls are really really good. Definitely worth a visit!

Being in Faringdon on Sunday was a little frustrating. It was shut. But we did make an unexpected find here. We decided on the pasties, and they were by far the nicest we've had in ages. They look and taste to have been made on the premises - by someone really good at it. The pastry is light and nicely-textured with great flavour. The Cheese and Onion pasty filling was generous and full of flavour. The Cornish pasty filling was excellent, with proper chunks of beef and pieces of potato and swede, and a very tasty gravy. The courtyard seating was very pleasant, being well sheltered from the breeze, and comfortably warm and open. The people were friendly and helpful, and I've very rarely seen faster or better service. Definitely one we'll be back to.

Truly superb service from Paul, Sietske and the team provided for our wedding celebrations in April 2022. Paul and Sietske helped plan the drinks reception providing ideas for none alcoholic options, catered to our guests extensive list of dietary requirements and ensured the day went smoothly. The food was really excellent, which is matched by the feedback from the guests. Equally the service from the team was excellent throughout the evening managing our bar. The day seemed to pass seamlessly which is a testament to your team and organisation. So thank you it was a wonderful day, in no small part to yourselves.

Sadlers catered for our wedding at the end of May 2021 and the food was absolutely incredible (photos only attached of our canapes and one of the starters, as everything else was eaten up too quickly). Of course we are biased as we chose the menu but my grandad even told us it was the best food he had ever eaten at a wedding! Paul is an excellent cook and him and Sietske did a wonderful job of helping us to make arrangements for the day. The food was a really important aspect of the wedding for us and we wanted it to be in line with our tastes and incorporate some of our favourite foods. We also wanted a more casual feel to the dining, with sharing platters for different groups of people across the three courses. Sadlers did all this perfectly and helped us work out a way to arrange this whilst meeting the Covid restrictions. The staff were all really professional and calm on the day and the food was everything we hoped for. We definitely hope to visit the restaurant again in the future (and hope to maybe even sample some of our wedding dishes again :) )
