Came on a Saturday afternoon, lovely outside space to enjoy lunch in the late summer sun.
The food was lovely and the service was excellent, we were very well looked after. They had their usual menu as well as some daily specials. I had the pie and it was lovely.
They had well kept ale. The pub itself is a little small, but with the outdoor seating area which had a retractable roof for the summer weather makes it much bigger than it once was.

I've had the belly of pork the last three visits, it's that good!
Recently had an OUTSTANDING lunch.
I was in food heaven.
Try the starter of scallops on a bed of black pudding and pea puree. Mmmmmm.
Just been again for Sunday lunch. Reassuringly expensive. Very well presented Sunday roast. Beef was spot on. Especially liked the big Yorkshire pudding with a pinch of crispy onions on top. Red cabbage was beautifully sweet and vinegary.
Cauliflower cheese is an extra but worth getting one to share because it's wonderfully cheesy.
We all wanted a pudding but we were too full.

Amazing Sunday roasts and desserts. I love the Eton mess. The beef was slightly chewy. But overall it's a great place to go to. I recommend it.

We were staying nearby and needed somewhere to go for our evening meal. Really pleased to have found the Spotted Cow. Good location good food and good staff. I had a Pizza and my partner went for the Salmon both were delicious.

Great pizzas!! We had a Quattro Formaggio and a children's pizza. Both were great. The child's pizza came with the dough extended to have bunny ears which kept my daughter very happy! The dining area is very nice and there were plenty of lovely flowers outside the windows to add a lovely backdrop. Service was really good, the waiter (Italian chap I think) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome after a long walk!

Highly recommend this place for Sunday Roast. I had the crackling pork belly. Very delicious and big Yorkshire Pudding. The ambiance was amazing. We were late due to traffic but the staff were very accommodating with our request to sit outside in the sun.
