I can think of few better places to experience a real deal full English than the Hogs Back Cafe. There’s something unbelievably calming about stepping away from the busy road and smell of diesel into the no nonsense decor and tucking into a fry-up.

Good basic food, good service, great on a summers day to sit outside. It is a great cafe.

This small traditional café is on a lage truk/car lay-by on the hog's back toad between Guildford and Farnham. There is outside seating in a grassed area with shade from trees.
The interior is small with 4/5 tables.
The food is basic fryups with a welcoming and friendly smile. Though I didn't have hot food, it looked good and was a reasonable portion.
I had a muffin, and my advice is to avoid this option.

A really, really good proper transport cafe, one of the best I've been to. Really well looked after and it's on the top of the Hog's Back in a quite scenic setting, a good place to break your journey and stretch your legs if you're in a car.

A fab cafe stop. The BEST BLT I have ever had that I didn’t make myself. It was a weighty beast loaded with thick cut crispy bacon, lashes of mayo… simply delicious!! My wife had one too & says the same.

The food is good. But don’t expect to comfort yourself as toilets are only available on purchases. Which is disappointing. But I can see why as it’s located in a very isolated location.

This is stunning. So magical to sit enjoy a perfect rest on any journey. The Food is always good. It's been a while since last here. But. OMG. Perfecto. Not much more than that in words. Try and never regret this fabulous catering establishment. So beautiful to walk down the path in all its glorious colour. And again, staff are tremendous, food is exemplary. 5 star award after gaining my catering qualification in Guildford with Mr Tim's who was X Savoy chef. I say no more. Come try enjoy, Respect.

Great place, really clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast. Loved being able to sit outside under shade today (very hot). Thanks also to the female member of staff who rushed after us with my hat, above and beyond service.

Great little cafe ideal for refresh stop. They take great care of the garden area and plenty of picnic tables with umbrellas. (See pics) Food was good proportions simple and well presented. Very clean and tidy inside and out with friendly helpful staff and Free Wi-Fi as well. Will return
