Lime Tree Restaurant

Nice place, me and my son were the only ones in restaurant , shortly after we arrived the waiter (who was very friendly and professional) put on the heater and music which made the atmosphere much better, the food was very nice especially the chicken and chickpea curry, nann bread fresh and delicious, the downside was the drinks,, not nice flavoured juice/soda and warm flat coke, we asked for some ice, unfortunately they didn't have any ( he gave my son an ice cream on the house after) the drinks was a let down for me,however the food was delicious, 5 star and we will return :)

Visited the Lime Tree for the first time today.....sadly only us in the restaurant but not sure why as everything was really good... Ambience/Atmosphere No-one else in but we were made to feel at home straight away by Nasser who was friendly, informative and a great host. He told us about the problems they had (floodings etc) and that they are looking to build their customer base again. Thanks Nasser for great hosting. Food & Drinks The food was delicious and plentiful and we were really impressed. Mixed starter for 2 was really tasty and nicely presented......poppadoms were fresh with great accompaniments. The mains were superb Laal Mesh and Chilli Garlic Masala were both spectacular but were too big for us to finish. (tomorrow's lunch sorted). The lamb was tender flavoursome. Great stuff Service Nasser made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us pots to take our leftovers home. Great work Value for money Superb value for money. £62 for 2 with drinks. Would I go back - 100% yes. Well done guys

Best in Bolton is back! Lime Tree was closed for refurbishment and I am so happy it has reopened. Lime Tree is one of those rare curry restaurants that takes real pride in making authentic and high quality dishes. The spices, herbs and techniques they use make their food truly excellent. I have not tried the seafood but I can say that the specials, the lentil soup and the breads are delicious and I’ll be going back again and again! Staff are friendly, courteous and highly knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommended.
