Beautiful old English pub lots to look at and very good ales and beer well worth a visit ❤️
Most definitely the best pub of the day in Faversham. Great choice of ales. Reasonably priced. Fantastic hidden garden that many will miss. Pub with so much character and its a FREEHOUSE hidden away in a Shepherd Neame town.
Highly recommended and we will be back. Great friendly staff too. Loved it.
In terms of the range of real ales and the quality this is probably the best pub in Faversham. Furlongs is in the mix, but is smaller and more cliquey. They don’t do food (fine by me) and judging by the reviews are maybe a little intolerant …
Absolute gem of a pub. So much history, character and charm. Wonderful management who made the visit warm and welcoming. Dog friendly. Lots of quiet nooks and crannies to chill in. If anyone visiting UK want to see a fantastic example of a historic pub - this is the place to go!
Great free house just outside Faversham town center. You need to make the effort to come here, as it is a great pub with well kept real ale and ciders. …

An excellent and ever-changing choice of real ale, kept in perfect condition. There's a comfortable function / darts room at the back. I was there for a pint and a meeting in the back room so I can't comment on food. I like the constantly changing choice of real ale available.
