We have been going to the restaurant on and off for years. The food has always been great and value for money. We went with friends last night. The food and presentation has been refined a little bit - it was delish!
We had the set menu. The meze was fantastic, the chicken kebab, with salad and bulgar wheat was really tasty., and the baklava was not overly sweet, so good for me.
As always, we would thoroughly recommend! Thanks for a really lovely meal.

We had walked past many times and had always thought of visiting. We were not disappointed, the portions were generous and so tasty. The service was great and it’s a family business passed down since the 1980s having the same chef for 22 years. Impressive ☺️ thoroughly enjoyed it, will definitely visit again!

Just returned from a family birthday meal. Wow! The food is exceptional, the staff can't do enough for you, very reasonably priced. I'd recommend the 'George's Special' 4 courses with coffee. Very authentic Turkish cuisine.

Wonderful place serving authentic Turkish food. The owner and his staff made us very welcome. I recommend George's set menu for about £24 to sample a great range of hot and cold meze, grilled meat, baklava and coffee.

Went tonight for my mums birthday and it was excellent! I've never been so fat and content from food! The George's special is a must and such great value for money! I'd happily pay double the price for such authentic food!

An excellent family run business. From speaking with them on the phone to book, until the moment we left, the service was outstanding. Friendly and professional service with really tasty food. We both went for George's special which was an absolute feast and did not disappoint, will be going back and would definitely recommend!!!

Lovely restaurant, with friendly staff and a good choice of dishes. Food was served quickly, with good potions but not too big. Tasty food. Able to walk in earlier in the week, however may need to book later in the week and weekend.
