A true gem in the woods! An undulating and challenging but well looked after parkland/heathland golf course. Although I find it bizarre that the red tees are often placed the same as or even a bit farther than the yellow ones. Accommodating pro shop staff and friendly golf course members too. Enjoyable round!

As ever, the course was beautiful and immaculate. The greens still had some speed in them ( which is great for Autumn) and they ran true. We were also made to feel very welcome by the staff we met. Not the toughest course round here but very enjoyable. Highly recommended

Great course, some very challenging holes and some really great little par 3s. The 16th is a particular highlight.
Really well maintained. It was a bit wet and windy when I was there so the sand traps were quite firm (luckily for me) and the greens a little soft. But that is not the green keeper fault. Looking forward to going back on a sunnier day.
Had a pint and a sandwich in the clubhouse after our round. Nice selection of beers and sandwiches.
All the staff, from the chap in the pro shop, to the greens staff, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful.

Had a society day here. Course was in excellent condition and laid out very well. Had meal afterwards, which was delicious as freshly cooked. All in all had a brilliant day here.

Beautiful setting and course greens were perfect and ran true
Looks an easy course but really isnt especially on approach due to difficult pin and bunker placement
Only £35 after 1pm brilliant value for money we will be going back

As usual all staff very helpful. Food very tasty and well presented. Course itself was not up to usual standard greens patchy and uneven bunkers no sand. Have played here many times first time found course in this condition
