I have a workshop here. Very alternative and quirky. Great feel to the place. Plus you don't have to look far for some one in the know when you want help on a whole range of matters.

Proper boat yard. Ppl are very nice and helpful, there's a vast range of services they'll offer. The only downfall...the shop might not be great and a bit dear.

On a nice day it's the perfect place to sit and have a cuppa or have an ice cream while sizing up the interesting boats moored up.

Reasonably priced lift and storage facility. A very friendly yard both from the staff and other customers. There are toilets, shower and laundry facilities. You can stay on your boat overnight whilst ashore. The independent chandlery offers a reasonable range of products. There is an excellent snack bar too. The only draw backs are the mud when it rains and the dust when dry. At busy times electric and water supplies are weak .

Very atmospheric boatyard at the end of Faversham. Sometimes called the dream factory, there are none the less several new boats moored up. Surprising howbig it is. The picture shows the creekside beyond the boatyard in December 2020

Lovely starting place for walks in the country. Quints is a great little place based here that is quirky and does great coffee and drinks and snacks. Can sit and watch the boats go by and relax

It's still a lovely and lively place. By the creek there are interesting buildings, some are businesses furniture, food, grub-stop. A great place doing really high-quality take-away Italian. It's a working wharf too. From there one can stroll along the estuary, or step out to Whitstable, two hours walk. On a sunny day take some refreshments and stop by the nature-reserve. Children love it as it's like a film-set. It has magical qualities. People live on all types of craft. There's a boat-yard to enjoy too. Fast-disappearing under 'lego-houses' unfortunately. We sat on a bench in the sun and saw an unusual wader l have yet to i.d. There's a big horizon and the snow-moon was spectacular. Park in the pedestrianised town, which has treats of its own such as the Guildhall on stilts, or go by public-transport. I highly recommend a visit! The Italian restaurant is beckoning me, they have vegan dishes too. Faversham is like Whitstable before it was taken over after ther Sunday supplements promoted it. Hadn't been there for years. One dreads going back to places these days, but this is a delight. Remember to sort your parking out first.

If you like boatyards, and I do, this is top. Check out any Thames sailing barges. Fantastic boats. I always like seeing the load indicator and how close it comes to the top of the hull.

A nice place to see barges and ship wrighting along with shops and cafe. Current Covid restrictions have left the shopping loft and shops closed. When restrictions finish go and enjoy in the Spring.

I only know the boat yard as a visitor rather than as a user or boat owner, but if you are in faversham it is definitely worth a walk here. Loads of interesting boats and associated equipment to see. There is a public footpath but this is a working boat yard so you do need to be a bit careful. The boat owners and workers are friendly and generally happy to stop for a chat!

Great yard if you want to maintain your own boat without getting ripped off by the big marinas.plenty of expertise on hand to help you if you get stuck and of course the Faversham Chandlery on site is invaluable.the place has plenty of character and plenty of characters around the place.

This is a boat yard, not a marina, and is at the top of a drying creek but the mud is soft so even fast motorboats can take the ground. Basic facilites and the staff are very helpful. The yard is a fascinating place with a lot of old wrecks in it and it is only a short walk to Faversham. Phone in advance as space is limited and you need to be confident about navigating a narrow creek.
