Golden Dragon

This is my favorite.. I love the food here. I live in Felixstowe from 2014-2017 . I tried them all , but eventually only went to golden dragon twice a week . Today I came back to Felixstowe for first time since 2017 , ordered my usual , special curry , egg fried rice n half portion of chicken balls . It was fine dining . Great to catch-up with Ben and his family who have made Golden dragon the best Chinese in my life . xXXBjuudifullXXx

I'm new to Felixstowe and not familiar with any asian takeaways here. Google reviews said Golden Dragon was the best chinese. Tonight I ordered for the first time to see if this could potentially be my regular asian takeaway. They picked up the phone quickly which was great - no waiting time although its peak time on a Saturday evening. The lady I spoke to was professional - repeated my order and address to ensure accuracy. Their home delivery service (only for £1 extra) was fast and effective, all the food were hot and fresh, I was extremely impressed. Paid the delivery driver cash, he was also very friendly and professional, cant fault the service. Food was delicious and gave good portion sizes, excellent value for money. Quality of food and service were top notch, I would fully recommend. Turns out the Google reviews were right - this is a very good chinese! I'll know where to order from now on. Thank you! My order: - Won ton soup £4 - Malaysian chili chicken £6.50 - Crispy duck with lemon sauce £7 - Special with malaysian satay sauce £7 - Kung po pork £6.50

Food was good but marked down as they only take cash ( fortunately I had enough on me) and if you go to order in person be aware they don’t let customers in but have plastic screens up at the door and you have to wait in the doorway or outside. We were visiting and as it’s just around the corner didn’t think it was worth having it delivered.

Firstly I am ashamed it has taken me this long to write a review for this place ! After living in Felixstowe now for three years after moving from Ipswich, this is by far the best Chinese out there. The food always comes hot, always a good portion not just a load of veg but full of meat. The sauces are just perfect full of flavour and not just sweet or salty, always take the order efficiently then read it back to you to ensure it’s correct. They have never ever let us down, the food is always consistent, always good portions and always a great service. I never want to stop eating even when I’m so full I just keep picking because it’s delicious. As I say the best Chinese in Felixstowe and Ipswich probably Suffolk. Thank you guys - Brandon road 😊 😉
