Felixstowe doesn't really have good places to eat, however this restaurant is the exception to the rule. Delicious food, good sized portions and very professional service. Definitely recommend after a day at the beach when you want to indulge yourself in some tasty Italian cuisine.
Our New "Go-To" Restaurant. Weve been here twice now and on both occasions we had a pretty good experience. The setting is second to none (being on the seafront!) The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is well-prepared and delicious. If I could them a 4.8 - I would. We'll be back.
Wow, we loved the food & ordered way too much, would order everything again it was so good! The Dedham Vale Carpaccio Pizza was really up my street! They have a great location for enjoying a summers evening near the sea. The staff were super friendly, really great ethos too! Will definitely be back soon! We’ve been back and had another lovely meal, still haven’t made room for desserts!!
The wife and I came here for a hot chocolate and a wine. Had some olives on the side. Hot chocolate was lovely. The service was exceptional. The seats and table all had a clean and was dried off as it had been raining. We had our dog with us and he was also treated very well by the staff, with treats and water. Think it was Lewis who served us and he was brilliant. We will be back her to eat and some point in the future as food looks lovely 👍
We visited for a late lunch recently. It was my first time dining here and I regret not coming sooner.
The food was first class, the service was also first class. Other restaurants take note! It doesn’t have to be over complicated, just a nice friendly personable service, lovingly cooked food and you have a recipe for a wonderful restaurant.
We had one of the booth tables in the window and it was perfect, a lovely sea view and great to watch the world go by.
The food was all a taste sensation and I cannot wait to return.
The Alba Chiara had always been one of the best in Felixstowe. Though often that can come with its downside. The previous night me and my colleges had tried to get a table at 7pm. Bit was told the first available was 8:45 pm so we went elsewhere. Moral of that story is book in advance. Today it was just myself so I tried again but at 6:30 pm. And was successful. Beer on tap is Moretti and served nice and cold. Food was as normal top notch. I went for the special which was sea bream linguine. It arrived quickly and nice and hot. And it was served to perfection. Fully recommend this place. But to avoid disappointment book first.
Lovely food, super friendly service. We tried a walk in a few times but always busy which is a good sign, finally we were lucky enough to get a table. Very happy with the experience and will be returning!
My daughter booked a Fathers Day surprise evening meal. When we arrived the staff very welcoming, we had a lovely table and the foh staff very knowledgeable and happy to recommend dishes. Every single one of our dishes was absolutely delicious! This was our 1st visit and it certainly will not be our last. Great authentic Italian food, fantastic atmosphere and very good service. Looking forward to visiting again and Will highly recommend other people to do so.
Had the best frutti di marre. Staff are super nice people. Asked for extra Parmesan cheese and that was not a problem, Thank you 👌🏻
This is one of my favourite places to eat in Felixstowe. I thought I had left a review and if not you should go. Excellent welcome, food is always delicious and I have been trying to work through the menu! If you’re lucky you can have one of the booths looking out to sea! Definitely get along here. Yes a little higher in price, but worth it. Don’t forget they have a little shop too!
