Walked in on a quiet Monday afternoon as it was snowing outside, whilst Gary at Felsham garage was servicing the car. Had the place to myself. Thank goodness for the wood burner and Sally was wonderful, had the cod & chips and chocolate brownie...delicious. Great local pub with a wonderful land lady. I would definitely recommend it.
This place was a beautiful choice, with great friendly service, right down to the chef who we had to thank for the meal which was well flavoured/cooked to order (10oz steak 🥩 medium rare with all the sides🍟). Highly recommend another visit 100%🫶🏾 …
A very charming place to visit. The pub itself is old and full of character, with a cosy and compact interior, just as you would expect from a building of its age. We arrived hoping to have a meal and a drink. It was quite busy during peak …
Recently visited the Six Bells after not visiting for about 18 months, we love the pub but the food was very poor on this visit . The steaks that we had I can only describe them as very poor cuts and were not particularly well cooked or hot… We left the pub very disappointed but will return in the near future
Wow, what a really lovely pub. Everyone, including the locals were so welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious meal here too. Can’t wait to visit again in the not too distant future. Well done landlord on creating the perfect pub atmosphere
Eating dinner with a large group inevitably meant slower service. However, the food was tasty and hot and generous portions. I would have preferred fresh sprout rather than those served, which seemed to be frozen. Overall, it was a positive experience
