Walked in on a quiet Monday afternoon as it was snowing outside, whilst Gary at Felsham garage was servicing the car. Had the place to myself. Thank goodness for the wood burner and Sally was wonderful, had the cod & chips and chocolate brownie...delicious. Great local pub with a wonderful land lady
Wow, what a really lovely pub. Everyone, including the locals were so welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious meal here too. Can’t wait to visit again in the not too distant future. Well done landlord on creating the perfect pub atmosphere
Eating dinner with a large group inevitably meant slower service. However, the food was tasty and hot and generous portions. I would have preferred fresh sprout rather than those served, which seemed to be frozen. Overall, it was a positive experience
10 of us enjoyed a 3 course festive dinner on Christmas Eve evening. The home cooked food was excellent and plentiful. Service very friendly and attentive. Bingo after was good fun.
