My husband and I had an afternoon lunch. We often come here as we find food is freshly cooked , staff are helpful and friendly. Since the place has been renovated it gives a warm and friendly atmosphere and lots of seating outside.
Prices are affordable with ongoing deals.

Came in last Saturday and had an amazing time ❤️ had no idea what to drink and the girl with green hair was so helpful and ended up staying a lot later than I planned! Amazing customer service! 100% will be coming back.

Good for a reasonable meal and drink. Very unclean. Sadly the pub is extremely dirty. Should not be serving food in such an unkept way. Spider webs everywhere on rafters and overhead. If environmental health came in it would be quite shocked by the hygiene. Don't think I will go until it has a deep clean and refurbishment of decor. Very poor. A real shame because it could be a lot better. Disappointing. The recent refurbishment has vastly improved the pub and restaurant. It was extremely busy with customers young and not so young. Really like the outside garden and seating areas. Bar staff told us some food was off the menu which was considerate and enjoyed the food that was available. Bar man offered us 2 alcohol free bottle lagers as a good will gesture which was kind and generous. The decor inside the pub was very nice and comfortable and cosy and cleanliness was superb. Well done Sizzling pubs we will look forward to our next visit. Keep it up!

Always a pleasure the food was lovely kids enjoyed it and so did I think there should be something outside for the kids to have a little play area though so nobody moans about them running about but lucky enough mine was good on that day haha we just ate and left thanks

Popped in recently for some food & drinks as I had a Sizzling Pub voucher to use up. I’ve not been here in years, must be 7/8 and it’s pretty much the same just with the added benefit of the outside all-weather area which they’ve made a good job of!
To be fair for what it is, it’s pretty good. A locals pub with a Skillet menu that pretty much everyone likes. They were sold out of some ingredients so we just had the same - x2 Sirloin steaks with Diane sauce plus dirty chips. Not bad for the money at all.

The staff are too young and they aren’t customer friendly. No welcome just a dazed look. Also waiting staff are way to young and zero personality. Other than that the food was delicious great portion sizes. There were rumours of you serving child portions. I clarified that they were wrong. Great outdoor space. Parking has become limited. Would come back as it’s my local. Just tweaks need to be addressed.

Stopped for a pint and food, and enjoyed the sunny day, nice staff, only issues were onion rings were warm and soggy, onions nearly raw, and button mushrooms not cooked, mentioned to staff but nothing done, staff member didn't come back to us

Fab place, been our local for a few years, jodie and the team are the loveliest of people, Food is always beaut! We have pre booked another Xmas dinner for this year too, as last year was so lovely. Highly recommend this hidden little gem! 💎

Excellent food, perfect service from all employees and the atmosphere is amazing always.
I will definitely be returning and bringing plenty of people with me.

Very lovely food. Consistently good. Cooked fresh. Well worth the wait for it to be cooked. Bar staff (male with small ponytail)that took our order was lovely.nothing too much trouble. Other male staff could do with smartening up. Overall good experience. Will definitely return.
