Best meal out I've had in ages. This cafe is a hidden jewel. Absolutely loved how home cooked the food tastes. I had a delicious chicken satay but the quiche looked yum too. Had a fruit tea that was to die for. These guys are legit foodies. Thank you, can't wait to come back

We stopped here for a breakfast break while on a journey, and were very impressed with the food and service. Thanks for letting well behaved dogs in, it was much appreciated. We will be back when we’re in the area.

Don't let the name or the location fool you, this is a seriously amazing place to eat. Luke the owner and Chef brings a wealth of experience and the menu is infused with his personality. I phoned ahead to find out if they could accommodate my brothers gluten and lactose free dietary requirements. We got stuck in traffic so only had maybe 25 minutes between meetings. The waitress was great, leading us to the dishes that were gluten and lactose free - there were plenty. In the end we both settled for Cable Beach - to call it a salad is a complete injustice. It was an amazing meal in a bowl, our two servings were different, but both featured absolutely zingy fresh high-quality ingredients, freshly prepared dressings, and at £8.50 a plate seriously good value for such a gourmet treat. Lots of the dishes are less expensive. They knew we were in a rush and got our food straight to us. I cant recommend this place highly enough, and with loads of free-parking available, there's no excuse not to visit. Well done Luke for bringing us great and exciting food at a very affordable price.

Lovely quiche and salad, in quirky cafe setting. Treat yourself to lunch! Update: Been back again for lunch, oops 😋 and think that I may need to challenge myself to eat through the whole menu! Bubble and squeak for me today with ham & egg, but I need to try the flat bread platter that my companion had 😍...to be continued!

Probably one of the best cooked breakfast's we have had, really good produce and great service. Well priced. Shame it is not open into the evening for food. Will be back again soon.

Fantastic food and great value. A hidden treasure. These people are passionate about food and it shows! The pictures on google are out of date and show the place how it was before current ownership. Now its a funky urban cafe with a great menu. Dogfriendly too and cosy outside seating. Proper food comes to Ferndown!

Great spot to stop for lunch on our way through town. The service was very friendly and quick. Coffee was made well, the portions were generous, the food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. It is certainly worth going out of one's way to eat at The Flying Teapot.
