Best fish and chips in ferndown in my opinion, very competitive prices and friendly staff.

First Plaice in my opinion is still the best fish and chips shop in the area. I use the one near Tricketts, the one in Westmoors and the one at Parley Cross as a comparison. The only improvment I would suggest is crisping the chips up more. Tonight mine looked quite anemic. Tbh the only place i've found does decent chips is the forum frier in Blandford.
Aside from that - I had cod. Batter decent and light. You dont get that heavy feeling like some shops.
It's decent but please sort out the chips ✌️

Very polite . We bought for 5 adults and 1 child. The food was very well cooked and not greasy. The service was quick when you take into consideration it was all cooked to order. Very good and polite service. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you First Plaice

Best fish n chippy dinner ever .
Passing through on way back to London with family, stopped here for a spot of dinner. Absolutely blown away by the quality, portion sizes and efficient service.
Can safely say the best fish n chips we have had anywhere !! and believe me I've tried alot of places.

First time here. The portion sizes are enormous. I can honestly say that I have never tasted batter so light and delicate. Was really impressed and will be back.

I have been a regular customer since the current owners took over but today I tried the home delivery service for the first time. The order arrived promptly, really hot and the fish and the chips were excellent, as always. The best fish and chips in Ferndown with friendly and cheerful customer service by all the staff.
