Ordered gluten free cod and chips (wife coeliac) and normal cod and chips with pickled eggs, mushy peas etc. Owner said he would need half an hour as he'd have to drain the oil down to do GF. Anyone that deals with being a coeliac will understand that that statement is like music to their ears. It tells you that they know what being gluten intolerant is and also that they do take it seriously.
Food was excellent, huge portions even I couldn't eat it all and I eat like a hippo, friendly staff. Not expensive and ready slightly before they said. All in all great chippy.

We went here last Friday, we had a fish and chip van on our St Leaonards campsite that night but after reading reviews still decided to try here, wow, was we glad we did, it was outstanding, fish was lovely with crispy batter, the chips were superb and the curry sauce pots were out of this world, great size, and they delivered to us. Highly recommended. Keep it up Ferndown Fish & Chips, we will be using you everything from now on when we're on holiday there. 👍👍👍👌👌👌

Had a problem with my pick up order and the staff went above and behind to help. Amazing service and the food tasted incredible. Ordered Gluten Free fish, clearly labelled exceptional value.
