Literally the best fish and chips I've had in a long time!!! Fish was thick and delicious. The batter was amazing and crunchy. Mushy peas were good. Service was fast and very friendly. Shame we're on holiday!!! If you're in Filey ...go!!!! …
We had the small haddock & chips with mushy peas. All piping hot and nicely cooked. Arrived quickly via the polite and attentive server. £11.30 per head was good value for the quality of food.
Called in here today for dinner. We had fish and chips expecting it to be excellent as we had been before. Oh dear. No longer appears to be cooked in beef dripping. The fish was nice inside unfortunately the batter was a bit greasy as were the chips. We left feeling disappointed as it was so nice last time.
We have dined in here and had takeout when we have stayed in Filey. Unfortunately, the service received today was non existent from the member of staff who took the order in fact downright rude! …
