Good food and good coffee. The service was fast and friendly, and I was welcomed as soon as I walked in.
I had the veggie chilli which tasted great and homemade, good chips and tasty garlic bread. Very reasonably priced too.

Nestled in a little side Street of Filey is a not to be missed quintessential little cafe. Warm friendly welcome by the lovely owner awaits you. Clean, fresh cafe with a very friendly mixture of locals. Food and service are first class and sensibly priced. Outside seating area plus guest toilets on
I had a small vegan breakfast and it was good; plenty of variety on the plate, all cooked properly, tasted nice. Most small cafes don't get near to this standard of vegan breakfast so well done. Service was friendly and fast. After 11.45am breakfast menu stops and the vegan options seem very limited
First, upon entry, the service was super friendly and helpful. The menu was nice and varied, with some rather glorious looking breakfasts to be had. Suffice to say I chose a regular breakfast. Food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. The breakfast was great! Bacon is not too greasy and well cooked
Now under new owners/name - the egg and spoon. Food was a bit of a wait but worth it. There are also not as many vegan options as there used to be, which is a bit of a disappointment, but the soup was good.
Vegan/veggie options were also not labelled on the menu, making them a bit hard to spot!

Enjoyed our visit here. Service was good. The only disappointment was the meal we wanted was sold out, which for a lunchtime menu was a bit of a shame. We'll give them another look next time we visit Filey
We just had afternoon tea at the Filey cafe. Beautifully presented and tasted gorgeous. Unfortunately we could only manage the sandwich and cakes so we have our scones as takeaway for later.

Had a week at Haven and decided to try here for breakfast before going home. Good sized portions and nicely cooked. Very helpful in swapping items on the breakfast such as egg for an extra item at no cost. Highly recommended

We arrived early to Filey for our family holiday so that we could have a cooked breakfast to start off our holibobs. It didn’t disappoint, we all enjoyed our cooked breakfast and the service was brill. We will be back again.
Lovely cafe with seating outside at the rear. Staff friendly. We had hot drinks and the carrot cake which was delicious.
Wonderful find just opposite the memorial garden and aviary. The food was delicious served by very friendly staff. And the icing on the cake was eating in the garden area with the wisteria flowering and the sun shining. Will definitely return soon
What a fab place! We weren't disappointed with our afternoon tea. Displayed on a mini picnic bench, it was all delicious ! Worth every penny. Lovely setting out the back too un some beautiful gardens. Great staff, attentive, efficient & friendly. Thank you!
