Visited quite a few times over the years always for coffee and cake and have never been disappointed in the service, drinks or food. On this visit we had two lattes and homemade cakes. Coffee was hot just how I like it, cafes often make coffee just warm. The cakes are homemade by family members and are a good size, I’ve had vanilla slices, Manchester tart and scones in the past and all very nice. Shame they close for the winter soon. We are booked in to try their afternoon tea on Friday.
5 Star Tea Room. Lovely location, service was excellent pleasant and quick. Inside and outside Seating. Food is of a high standard. I had a bacon sandwich on plain white bread and it was acutely one of the best I have ever had.
This hidden gem deserves a visit if you are in Filey. Delicious home made cakes. I had myself a spectacular vanilla slice homemade as if it was made by Mary Berry. We also had a very generous portion cheese jacket potato. The place is spotless clean, specially the toilets (something very difficult to find these days). The ladies are very friendly and helpful. Certainly I will visit them again on my next holiday around. The only down is an "only cash venue", we could have eaten more if we had more cash with us.
Me and my wife had the most beautiful breakfast and tea this fine morning.
The staff was very welcoming and we enjoyed the food so much when I had to leave. I made a point of telling the waitress that the Bakewell cake is the best I have ever had in my whole life and I have eaten a lot of cake in my 55 years, we will be back again just to go to this one café if nothing else.
Outstanding quality and service. Visited twice in three days. Ideal for my elderly relatives, clean, traditional, no stupid music, marvellous vfm. Once you've managed the slope down to the cafe there's good wheelchair access too. A very welcoming, well managed business. Why can't all places get these basics right
Great location for a cafe with brilliant views, much better than the cafes in town.
Great service and friendly staff.
Cakes were tasty and lots of choice... served proper Yorkshire tea too.
Only downsides. The loos weren't all that nice and some cars were parked by the cafe (we assumed staff cars) which spoiled the view a bit.
Angela's has the most amazing homemade produce. I struggle to choose what to have and always buy something to take home. Also jams marmalades lemon curd and even some pickled products. Would highly recommend 😁😁
Beautiful crab sandwiches and homemade cakes. Lovely tea rooms, but it's cash only so be prepared.
Wonderful cafe, great quality food and friendly service....I simply can't rate this place enough, as I only can give 5 stars... If you don't try this lovely little place, then you're missing out !!
What's not to like, beautiful place, good views, great service but best of all great food. Especially Bacon Butties 😀.
