We booked in advance as it was a bank holiday weekend, though the place wasn't too busy anyway. The food was amazing! Best place I've ate out for months! Between four we shared the nibble nobble platter, I think it was called, it is perfect for two. But that was fantastic: the ribs feel off the bone and they weren't too fatty. The fried mushrooms weren't covered with too much coating. The rest was what you'd except but was all lovely- cleaned the plate! I have the chicken and mushroom ravioli, it was gorgeous! Very filling. Perfect flavour. My Fiance, had the burger with pulled pork. That was amazing, best pulled pork any of us have ever tasted! The chicken and leak pie came with a really decent serving of gravy and decent amount of veg on the side! The one pot chicken, also was amazing the potatoes it came with were so soft and not greasy! We were stuff so unfortunately didn't get to try the puddings. But the pub itself was a nice establishment, drink were decently priced, waiting staff were amazing, and the food was out of this world! A definite must!

Lovely little site but spoilt by some whinging people who love to annoy the dogs but then don't like it when they start barking. If you don't like them don't book a site that allows dogs on. The owner and Landlady of the Pub are lovely people and very down to earth, typical Yorkshire folk. The Pub is lovely with a nice varied menu and staff are great and friendly as well. Young Connor who is running the site is great and will help wherever he can. The site is ideally located for Filey, Reighton Gap and Hunmanby. The beach at Hunmanby is amazing and dog friendly and our three loved it running in the waves. We will definitely be returning but will ask for the pitch away from the waste and water point, which was the only one left when we arrived, so that any people going to top water drums up don't have to worry about the dogs barking. The other small point which convinced us it was the Derby Ducks who whinged was that 3 of them came over in turn to set the dogs off instead of just one visit to the bins and water point. Why do people go away just to whinge and moan, fgs, chill and enjoy yourself.

What a charming wonderful olde world style pub,the oak beams are a big feature with lots of fine furnishings placed strategically placed around, the atmosphere is very nice with good background music, the food is outstanding and cooked from fresh straight to your plate. I opted for the large cod and homemade thick cut chips just like my mother used to make I must add the cod was large and to be honest so far it's been the best experience of fish and chips that I have had on the east coast , a wonderful dining experience and the honey pot catered for us even at short notice after a walk in,I would certainly recommend this establishment as a must visit whilst on your stay on the coast and you won't be disappointed the menu's have lots to choose from, many thanks Mr Steven Wilson

Nice pub, good food at reasonable prices. Would recommend the roast dinner of the day with own jug of gravy. 8oz steak was nice but could have eaten 2. Would go back again.

Don't judge a book by its cover!! Parked up and was worried as it looked derelict, having a meal on mother's day you would expect a super busy pub, but it was super quiet when we arrived, it did get busy as the afternoon went on. This was a large family group meal out. We walked into the pub where the wood burner was blowing out some lovely heat , the decor inside was lovely and nice to see. Everyone was super friendly. The food was delicious I had a beef roast dinner with a beautiful thick gravy. My husband had lasagna which he said was very nice. My son had a pepperoni pizza and my daughter had gammon which they both enjoyed very much!! This is definitely worth a visit and we will be back.

I can't recommend this place enough! Firstly, the portions are absolutely huge so if you are going, make sure to go hungry! The food is homeade (You can definitely tell that it's homeade by the look and taste) and it tastes amazing. There is a wide variety of dishes ranging from Burgers to Curries and Roasts so it suits the family very well. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We've been here many times but this time we had the Cheeseburger & Chips, Mixed Meat Roast Dinner followed by a Jaffa Cake Sundae and Sticky Toffee Pudding. I would highly recommend to book as they have limited seating and it seems to always be busy.

Food is fantastic, very reasonably priced for the quality. Everything is executed to a high standard, very flavoursome. Great service, you do have to order at the bar but it's no bother. Lovely visit.

We came here after being at the beach and the staff were lovely, the pub it’s self is gorgeous and feels really homely. The food was amazing I had the smoked fish pie which was delicious and fresh. My partner and friend both had a burger and said it was lovely. The portion sizes are big and don’t break the bank. Three full meals and three pints was £55 overall with the lovely atmosphere and friendly staff and great food I was happily surprised with the price. Will definitely come again and bring the dogs next time as they are dog friendly 💛

Great choice of food fairly reasonably priced and huge portions. Went with our pup and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Liked it so much we went back the next evening. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoy going here. We were slightly disappointed that they refused a family booking, but understood the reason as they were short staffed. Food is always enjoyable, and have no issues with service. I personally like the decor of the place aswell, nice change from the ultra modern bars popping up. Dog friendly too

Chose to go here tonight for our evening meal whilst staying nearby, honestly one of the best food places I've tried! If you love home cooked pub food you'll love this little gem :) felt really welcomed too.
