Just came in with the family for some lunch. Service was very good. Had cod, chips, sausage, scraps and nuggets with gravy. Was all very tasty!

Landed in Filey whilst on holiday and randomly went to this chippy.
It was outside seating only and seeing as it was lashing down we stood inside to eat.
Excellent fish n chips!
Not the cheapest, but the quality is there.

Fabulous food and service, seating area outside has umberellas giving you the option of sitting in the sun or in the shade. Reasonable prices, and really good portion sizes, 3 adults and a child shared 2 fish and chips and there was plenty for everyone. Curry sauce was the best I've had in a long time and the gentleman behind the counter was lovely. Thank you!

100% would recommend. Our order was taken quickly and efficiently, and we didn’t have to wait long for the food to be cooked. We had a takeaway order for 9 people and each of us really enjoyed our food. We’d ordered fish, chips, scampi and peas. I am coeliac so it was an added bonus to find they did gluten free. This was really tasty too. None of our food was greasy or bony as other reviews suggested. If you are around Filey then definately give these a try.

A lovely quick service and affordable fish and chips! Got the regular? Size but it was so much quantity :)! Having some small (less chips) options could be nice. I loved that we were able to put as much vinegar as we want as well. Would love to also see some seasonal local fish option as well.

Got to give this place 5 stars as it's the first chippy we've found that does gluten free fish&chips since my fiancée had to go gluten free. Neither version disappointed. EXCELLENT 👍👍

If you don't like your fish and chips cooked in beef fat! First Catch is the chippy for you, really friendly, really good quality, and out door seats perfect. Thanks guys my kids and I loved the food!

Absolutely best chips I've eaten in a long time. I like my chips soft in the middle and a bit crispy on the outside. Friendly service. Salt and vinegar are out as if we have no pandemic, but that's the only criticism.

Pretty good fish, chips could be just a bit better. They serve gluten free fish and chips as advertised. This was very welcomed.
