What a little gem this place is! They are situated in the beautiful town of Finchingfield, they serve delicious food and excellent hot drinks. With an extensive cafe menu, this is the only place I would go to when visiting the area. Staff are incredibly kind and helpful and make it such a nice place to visit.
Went in cafe after complete 4 and half miles walking.
Having a pot of tea with my friend and taste perfect also interesting of pictures on the wall. Only saw Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Audrey Hepburn but many of 40s to 60s celebrities.
I might will come back for another pot of tea.
Stopped here on our bike ride, it's a very popular stop amount the motorbike community. Limited seating but on a nice day can just sit out on the grass. Has a wide selection of cakes to choose from or the scones are lovely too. Didn't try the food but looked good.
Overall nice stop for a coffee and cake.

Best hidden tea room in the UK. seats outside allow the beautiful sight of the town.
Friendly welcome and nice atmosphere. Great choice of teas with some rather unusual ones. I had a British grown tea from Cornwall. Good selection of cakes ( don't go if you are on a diet 😁) I had a fruit scone which was delicious. My son had a white hot chocolate which he said was lovely. Will definitely call in again when in the area.
Absolutely lovely little Tea Room in a picturesque setting of the green and river. Lovely staff were very kind to us and made a fuss of our son on his first trip to Finchingfield. We will be back for sure, do not miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful village Tea Room, absolutely brilliant!
Very hot day - Bit disappointed there wasn't a wider choice on the menu. But had a very nice quiche and salad. Had also been able to book for lunch, which was helpful as tearoom is tiny and Finchingfield was very busy, even midweek. Parking can be very difficult. I think the toilet is the tiniest I have ever seen, but somehow everything one needs fits in!
My favourite bike stop tea room in Finchingfield. Lovely ladies, nice food and coffee. Always happy for me to park my bike right next to the door. Thank you. 😎👍
Very good place to get a pleasant lunch or afternoon tea. Great location, good food, reasonably priced. Not a huge place, though, so get there early.
