Stunning bbq chicken pizza. Tapas to die for. Chipolatas, garlic chilli prawns and albondigas. Fab staff, friendly locals. An absolute joy in this heatwave but just as good when it’s a bad day. Half is dog friendly, footie on in one part during the World Cup. Knowledgeable staff for all things sea and sailing related. Thanks to Katrina,Simon and all the staff. Xx
I am stunned to read reviews on here about the staff at the Captains Table, every member of staff has been polite and friendly, any issues over the hundreds of times I have been here have been resolved professionally, quickly and without any problem. Our family have been welcomed here every time, the food is amazing and the review about cheap EU meats is garbage as the food is sourced from the local butcher. I appreciate that not everyone has the same opinion but reviews should be factual so that either management can address the issue or at least respond and make amends if necessary. I highly recommend the Captains Table to all my friends and family. We've never been let down!

Fantastic food throughout the day I had breakfast this morning with locally sourced sausages, black pudding, haggis and bacon topped with lashings of hot tea and oat toast. Lovely friendly staff.
The captains table is a real find - food is superb - well priced and the service is first class - nothing ever too much for a very attentive staff. The views of the bay are second to none either sitting outside on the plentiful seating, inside the cafe or on one of the 5 large settees looking out over the bay. The captains table has always sold bottled beers and wine but now it is serving draft beers as well meaning I was able to enjoy a pint whilst sitting outside in the sunshine watching the world go by - WONDERFUL

Six women, prosecco � all out for a good birthday treat and that's what the Captains table did. Fantastic tapas food by Fay. Excellent friendly service. My friends loved it. We also want to thank Simon and Elisa (sorry if that's the wrong spelling) for a fantastic boat trip. The two of you made it for us.

The Captains Table is an exceptional cafe with excellent food and staff. From the fresh, piping hot local butchers burgers to the wonderful sweet delights the cafe never fails to please the tastebuds. The staff are always warm and welcoming and they have always put a smile on my face. All of this combined with the beautiful view of the bay will certainly make your holiday one to remember!

We had an excellent lunch yesterday. Family took us to this place that looked like nothing special from the car park but as you go round the corner the view of the marina is amazing and there is loads of space both inside and out.
Dogs are welcome which was a bonus

A great cafe at the tip of Findhorn . Good choice of food and drinks, dog friendly too. Worth a walk down to the shore afterwards.

This is definitely one of those don't judge the place by appearances. We thought at first the place was closed down, but we saw people walking around so we followed them. We were there for the lunchtime menu. It's a basic menu, nothing to fancy. The fish was beautiful, the scampi was nice and the chips were great. The side salad was a bit of an after thought, but we weren't there for salad.

We popped in for coffee on a windy, cold Friday, didn't know what to expect, but we loved this place. The modern woodburner and stylish decor gives a scandi feel. Coffee quickly turned to lunch after a review of the menu. Tasty brisket fries and the best lentil soup I've ever tasted, all served by a friendly team. If I didn't live three hours away, I'd be back every weekend. Thank you!!
Wasn't sure what to expect from this place, thought it was just pub grub!!! We had pizza and hot chocolate and oh my god, by far one of the best pizza's I've had this year!!! Staff were also very helpful and friendly, would definitely go back
Cafe restaurant close to the Marina with views across the bay. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Menu is varied and food is very tasty and woth vegetarian options. Breakfast served from 10 to 11.45. Staff are very friendly. Wheelchair accessible.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon. We were advised on arriving that there would be a wait time due to how busy it was, which we didn't mind at all, but service was actually much quicker than that anyway.
Staff were attentive and efficient. The food was delicious. Between the three of us we had a Pepperoni Plunder Pizza, Southern Chicken Burger, Tex Mex Burger, Loaded Pizza Fries and Mac' n Cheese Bites.
Everything was very tasty, and presented nicely too. Overall for the three of us, with drinks included, the whole lot came to just over £60, which I think is quite reasonable.

I feel like I need to compliment this place. In the midst of a time where the customers are becoming more and more peckish, annoying and demanding huge and silly menus, this place got it right!! Right size of menu, with options for the fast food or the homemade food.
We live in Inverness and came across this spot by chance on a day out. What a lovely find! We've been back 3 times now, to have dinner and we were never disappointed! And I don't believe we will be, when they are smart and have the right dishes in their menu!
We've had pizzas and Fish and Chips. No doubt, one of the best fish and chips ever, and who'd say the pizzas are delicious too?? I love the goats cheese one, I could drive just to have that! The staff is very friendly, the service is at good speed.
I just wish them a lot of success and congratulations to the chefs, the food is really good! My partner is a very good chef and I'm a pastry chef, we can cook at home any meal we want, but sometimes all you want is a simple, incredibly tasty meal! And they nail it here 😊
