Came here 4 years ago and again today, safe to say that although the menu may have changed, the quality of the food has not. The food here is absolutely gorgeous and the portion sizes are fantastic value for the money. It's a 2 and half hour journey from where I live and I am happy to travel that distance just for their food!
I popped in for a quick half over a game of pool on a wet afternoon. Was a great, friendly atmosphere, lovely original decor, a seat by the fire. What more could you want? ♡ Decent beer, too! Landlord friendly and happy to chat.
Called in late on the off chance they were still serving food, glad we did,we had a warm welcome, only bar meals available, ordered a few side dishes with our meal as both hungry . Lovely friendly staff. Had an afternoon tea which was superb. Only problem was, we couldn't finish it! Took the rest home. Definitely worth a visit.
We've been to Fishguard a few times and while camping last week, we came across the Coach House. Such a friendly place, brilliant pub food, great prices and a homely atmosphere. We ended up having an evening meal then lunch the following day.
