Nice basic cafe. Food ok. Simple, plain. CASH ONLY as no internet signal. Great views. Good for walking n dogs. Beach at low tide. Car parking
Welcome, and welcoming, service after a long walk along the cliff tops. You can drink inside away from the weather, or enjoy your refreshments outside and take in the view.
Very friendly, reasonable prices, and a lovely coffee.
Lovely little cafe that is much needed in this area. Good food, clean loos,lovely views, friendly staff. Cafe was closed the next day, as weather not so good. This was a real shame, lots of people were heading there . It should be open every day, no matter what the weather. Would have preferred to pay by card.

9 years ago I gave this cafe 3 stars. Now I've given it an extra star!
We popped in a little before 3pm on a sunny afternoon in the holiday season.
The lady behind the counter said they stop serving hot food at 3pm but stay open until 4pm. On a sunny afternoon in peak season it seemed like they were missing a trick by not staying open longer.
I also think the owners need to embrace the 60's feel. Get a juke box in! Some 60's wallpaper! (Much better than the out of order Space Invaders!)
I had a sausage sandwich, which was very tasty. The food was all cooked fresh and got top marks from us.
My daughter couldn't finish all her chips, so I had to help her out!
Phenomenal views on a fine day.

The car park serves visitors to the beach as well, £1.50 per day. Shame cafe customers don't get the charge back with their order!
Not good wheelchair access, the path is very uneven.
The staff were friendly enough.

In brief: a great cafe that could be even better with some 60's paraphernalia and longer hours.

It is cash only but unlike some other commenters on here, I checked before setting off and it was very well advertised that it was cash only (I really don't understand why people assume and then complain in a review on the very page which tells you it's cash only!)

Traditional cafe with nothing special to offer, except it's incredible location and views. Well worth a visit.
