Food was lovely for our evening meal and for breakfast. The atmosphere was great. The service we had was great apart from one waitress that could maybe do with a little more customer service training.

What a lovely Restaurant! -Welcoming friendly staff. -The food was beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend the scallops and Burgers. Restaurant let us bring our own birthday cake, and they was fantastic with bringing it out when we wanted it. -Overall beautiful location, beautiful restaurant highly recommend!

Excellent food and great service from all the staff. We had posh fishfinger sandwiches. They were first class. Fantastic vistas and loads of atmosphere. A must for anyone travelling on the A64 to Scarborough , or anyone looking for a great lunch.

Went for a family birthday meal wanting to avoid town on a busy bank holiday. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, food was lovely and everything was cooked perfectly. Relaxed atmosphere and unpretentious delicious food.

If you want a nice treat for breakfast this is a lovely setting.oak beams wooden floor. Full English or continental buffet breakfast. All food very hot. There's a nice walk around the golf course. Automated drinks machine ,fresh orange or fruit juice. Lots of parking. My first visit but definitely going back

Came here for lunch and accidentally managed to catch their "Seafood special" week, we love seafood so that was lucky. Opted for the seafood platter to share between us and weren't disappointed - plenty on it and all tested really good. The dining area itself is open and spacious, and friendly staff too

We booked in at Tykes Restaurant ,as we are staying at Griffon forest lodges. Our meal was beautiful,we both had starters soup & pork belly which was so tasty .Then for our main courses we had pork tenderloin & the Tykes burger .Which again was presented lovely & tasted so nice.The staff we're very helpful & attentive thank you all,for a lovely evening.

Helpful and friendly staff with great food at reasonable value and service speed. Homemade and worth it!! Unfortunately I didn't picture breakfast but it was also to high standard.
