Went to The Foresters today for the first time and had the carvery, best roast I have had , delicious, the staff were so friendly a beautiful pub, highly recommended

Tasty, well presented food. Good range of beer, (other drinks available).
Unfortunately the mains we would have chosen were not available on the day, but the pie of the day was tasty!
Dog friendly, inside and in various covered outside areas.
Shame you've spelt Beef wrong in the recommend dishes below (Beaf Burger, sic)

Lovely pub. Staff friendly. Food was good but they ran out of some of the puddings. Perhaps they should add a few more things to the pudding menu like a chocolate melt in the middle or a creme brûlée of some kind. Good selection of mains.

Tricky parking due to how popular it is.
Dog friendly, staff are a little hit and miss, during our visit two members of staff were brilliant but that sadly was brought down by another giving terrible service..

Just had an amazing experience at this pub. We walked our dogs for an hour in a massive block of shared MoD and public forest to the rear of the pub. Entered the pub through the adjoining gate. Service was the absolute best. The bar manager was superb. The staff excellent, and the food fantastic. We will definitely be returning for another day out. Thanks to the team at this pub, brilliant. 5 stars weren't enough.

Lovely food - recommend the lamb starter! serious upgrade since the refurb. Only thing to say is the ambiance could be improved. Feels a little clinical. But other than that lovely!!

First visit for 5 years.
Much better this time.
Amazing ribs. Some of the best I've ever tried. So tender and a great sauce. Good fries and coleslaw to go with it.

Lovely pub away from it all. Food was good, service was good. Couple of pointers if hyper critical like forgot to bring a steak knife with a steak so had to ask. But that’s not the end of the world and that’s only thing I could fault all in all good!
