Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff making you feel welcomed. Food very tasty, served quick, staff ensure you have everything you need. Plenty of parking spaces, wonderfull garden. Highly recomanded.
Pleasant surroundings, varied menu. Good overall experience but not outstanding so 4 stars. Decent size car park, and possible to go for a stroll in the woods directly from the pub.
Just had an amazing experience at this pub. We walked our dogs for an hour in a massive block of shared MoD and public forest to the rear of the pub. Entered the pub through the adjoining gate. Service was the absolute best. The bar manager was superb. The staff excellent, and the food fantastic. W
Great pub set in the Hampshire woodland which surrounds it with lovely walks. The pub itself is in keeping with its surroundings and has a lovely homely, cosy feel to it. The staff are super friendly and the place is very dog friendly in the bar area only with treats and water on hand for your four
First visit for 5 years. Much better this time. Amazing ribs. Some of the best I've ever tried. So tender and a great sauce. Good fries and coleslaw to go with it.
Good times to be had by all! Food was lovely and location even better. Staff were really friendly, but I could tell they were struggling a little. Lots of tables full of glasses and plates let the place down a little. However, food served and beers were lovely and the garden is well kept and quite a
Lovely pub. Staff friendly. Food was good but they ran out of some of the puddings. Perhaps they should add a few more things to the pudding menu like a chocolate melt in the middle or a creme brûlée of some kind. Good selection of mains.
We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday carvery. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. We'll definitely be coming again.
Lovely pub good food & a nice selection of beer. Tricky parking due to how popular it is. Dog friendly, staff are a little hit and miss, during our visit two members of staff were brilliant but that sadly was brought down by another giving terrible service..
Lovely food - recommend the lamb starter! serious upgrade since the refurb. Only thing to say is the ambiance could be improved. Feels a little clinical. But other than that lovely!!
Lovely pub away from it all. Food was good, service was good. Couple of pointers if hyper critical like forgot to bring a steak knife with a steak so had to ask. But that’s not the end of the world and that’s only thing I could fault all in all good!
Popped in on the off chance with friends for a quick drink and a bite to eat for lunch. The pub and car park was quite busy, which for a mid-week lunchtime, was a surprise. However, I can now see why. The food was great and brought out to us in good time. A decent selection of light bites to choose
Tasty, well presented food. Good range of beer, (other drinks available). Unfortunately the mains we would have chosen were not available on the day, but the pie of the day was tasty! Dog friendly, inside and in various covered outside areas. Shame you've spelt Beef wrong in the recommend dishes bel
Went to The Foresters today for the first time and had the carvery, best roast I have had , delicious, the staff were so friendly a beautiful pub, highly recommended
Excellent carvery and the staff were really friendly and efficient. Very relaxing Sunday lunch.
Fantastic pub/eatery tucked away in the forrest. Staff were friendly and the menu is quite varied. I had the baked Camenbert then the chicken wrap. Very delicious indeed!
