Friendly staff, food was really good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back. Had the steak and ale pie as well as the sausages and mash. Both decent sized portions and filling. Would recommend
Fantastic meal for 7, including a child. Warm reception. Great food and service. Lovely staff. Cozy fireplace and friendly atmosphere. Wonderful cozy pub and we will return when we can!
The food was lovely. The service was great, the guy serving was friendly and professional. I had my kids with me and they were well catered for and the staff were great with them. It was our first time visiting and my Dad is already wanting to arrange his walking group to make a visit and they were again very helpful.
Generally a really good pub. Excellent friendly bar staff and very accommodating. Problem at the moment is half the carpark is being used for Christmas trees, so nowhere to park. Went to the Wyvern instead and had a good meal.
