Incredible. Genuinely one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time. The breakfast muffin had a sausage patty that was of the utmost quality. The pancakes had a chocolate ganache that was as rich as they come. Service was prompt, views were great, even the toilets were clean and presentable.
Amazing, will return as soon as possible.

Really fresh and modern. We came for breakfast and we’re surprised at the imaginative menu. Apart from the pastries (which were lovely) absolutely nothing was “usual”. We were a table of 9 and were treated to very friendly service from professional staff. Would highly recommend and would rush back… which we did the following morning!!
Birchwood
On arrival we were a little confused - an architected industrial estate with a car park. But, behind the units is a forest with a woodland path, beehives - it’s gorgeous. Birchwood restaurant faces out to the forest. The restaurant has been thoughtfully designed to work atmospherically with the surrounding woodland. You can walk in the woods or sit on the terrace with a coffee, maybe a breakfast or a cake. The food is sublime.
We booked a celebration dinner here for our family including our grandbaby. Everything was delicious - this is sublime food. The staff were generous and accommodating, even washing-up and drying our grand baby’s dishes, cup and cutlery!
We’ve returned for breakfast since and were pleased again.
Highly recommend.

Tucked away gem. Lovely setting. Interesting menu. We went for breakfast. I had the duck hash, with kimchi and fried egg. Delicious.
Absolutely fabulous meal excellent value for money I would highly recommend this place for a cheeky lunch.
The wine by the glass was excellent value for money and the veiw was lovely and calming.
We had to share a table as this was the policy but the tables were so big this was not an issue.
More space than others who pack the tables in.

Interesting setting. Wooden unit with a high ceiling and a feel of a posh canteen. Shared tables / benches although couple we sat with felt far enough away so not listening to each other’s conversation. Little cold inside but staff welcoming and cheerful. Short menu but a good variety of dishes. The scrambled egg could have been warmer and the toast was too thick to cut the crust but, the full breakfast was a definite winner.
Excellent range of locally sourced food and coffee in a super space. The service and care is first class and maintained all the way from beginning to end. The space is very functional with large tables, bench seats and nicely laid out, a Scandinavian feel to it in terms of colours and functionality. Highly recommend.
Loved it, we had our order forgotten but as soon as it was noticed it was sorted and then we were comped so you can't say fairer than that, I really think that it was a one off, and will definitely return x
