Nice pub with a choice of real ales, 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Closes at 2.30 in the afternoon. Reopens at teatime.

Called in here today with 8 cycling friends. Well-kept real ales and good value and quality ciabattas for lunch along with a friendly landlord. What more can you ask for?

Great beer - I had Shropshire Gold but they obviously have a great variety of different ales. Friendly service and I look forward to visiting again.

Few pints of Redstripe with Dad and a chat with the locals. Relaxing and enjoyable few hours and pleasant walk back with my dog. Will be back.

Great pub, sells 4 real ales & all the usual suspects in keg & bottles...it is also a regular great live music venue...has plenty of parking & has a nice back garden...would probably get 5*'s if you tried their food...definitely be back in the future

Popped in to meet friends. It’s only 10 mins away, but I hadn’t been in for 25 years. It’s tidy, good beer, thoughtful and attentive staff, and remarkably still here after the tribulations of the pandemic. If you want pubs to exist you need to go spend Money in them. This is as good a pub to spend time and money in as any in the area.

Always our regular tuesday evening haunt during the winter when we can't get out on our bikes. Great selection of beer, always something new to try. Pleasant atmosphere.

Such a friendly pub, instantly felt welcome after first interaction with the landlord. Had a few games of pool and the locals were more than happy for us to play in their usual 'winner stays on' pool queue! Excellent selection of drinks! Cant wait to try out the food next time :)

Very friendly welcome for us and molly our collie ... Ate sunday lunch which was yummy, pudding too of course 😋😋 . Molly sat with us happily by our table, welcomed in the restaurant by the landlord, thankyou.... Enjoyed a few beers with family in the relaxing comfortable garden. Will definitely be returning. Beers and service top quality

Great pub. Nice to see some real ales on tap. Enjoyed a couple of pints of Proper Job, a good Cornish Ale. Food available during the day and Sunday lunch served until 3:30 pm. Front bar has pool table, rear for the restaurant area complete with upright piano. First visit and won't be my last.
