The pizza was great! Went twice today! The fruit punch and lemonade are even better! And the people are so friendly. Will be going back again soon.

I've been coming to this pizzeria for more than 30 years. That's how good they are. The taste of their pizza never changes. I believe they make the best pizza in all of the pizzerias in QUEENS. Alway reminds me of growing in Brooklyn the pizza that we used to get after going to church. Brooklyn used to have good pizzerias back in the old days. When pizza was only 50 cents.

You can’t compare Lucia’s pizza to any other pizzeria it’s truly one of kind location that offers High quality food and service for a reasonable price .
Last picture is a comparison between Lucia’s slice and another local pizzeria and I must say Lucia’s slice can’t get beat .

For more than 13 years I have been passing by this pizzeria a few times, the place is very nice, the place is a little small but what is necessary to eat a pizza. I haven't seen the man with the mustaches who served the service in many years, everyone gives good service to the customers.

Definitely what I envisioned for a local pizza shop. A homey community vibe which churns out delicious pizza pies at a ridiculous pace. My slice was on the undercooked side and the cheese fell right off the doughy undercarriage. Otherwise was still a great taste and experience.

First thing that captured my attention was the overwhelming amount of reviews this place has. I had just moved in locally, so I didn't have much else to work off of. I wanted to see why this place seemingly generated so much traffic, and I must say that I was satisfied by the expectation set by others.
I place myself on a tight budget, so I just did a regular slice and I don't do toppings - especially pepperoni. The size of the slice was perfect and made for a quick and filling lunch. The quality of the cheese and sauce was just about right, and nothing too exciting or game changing.
The pizza had a good firmness to it when it's held by the crust. I know some may not care, but I like to hold my pizza by the crust with my hand - like everyone else in the states - and I don't like the tip getting floppy on me. I expect pizza to be decently firm or straight, so I don't have to angle my mouth to take a bite because that's just annoying. I think it helps that the slice is thin as I assume thicker slices tend to droop. It's kinda like what that one guy from Barstool talks about, in fact, I saw his video after visiting Lucia.
Overall environment was just meh/average. I guess going to a pizza shop like this gives exactly the environment you should expect, so I aint gonna say much more about that.
Tl;dr I would say this pizza shop is worth going to for a quick bite every now and then. I mean the price is 3$ (I aint including taxes) for a regular slice, and it's got everything you want in a slice. It's filling for the stomach, and the quality of the ingredients is good enough to enjoy the whole slice. I would say it's not something I will desire often as my expectations weren't fully met, but I may have unreasonable expectations in terms of quality and overall experience for just a local pizza shop.
P.S. I apologize that I can't give any culinary opinion on the sauce, cheese, and pizza dough. I aint got that experience and I'm sure people don't care that much when we talking about some budget priced pizza slices.

I have been a pizza eater for almost half a century. Lucia’s makes my Top 5 in all of NYC. It reins as #1, through the Bronx (Arthur Avenue), Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island (Frantone’s and Umberto’s) This place is so good, that you will forego comfort to stand in this pizzeria on a cold winter night to eat a slice. It is that good. Satisfaction guaranteed. The secret is in the sauce.

One of the best local pizza joints in the area. The slices are classic NYC thin crust style with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The key may be that it's super busy so fresh pies are coming out of the oven all the time ! A hidden gem that I always get are the garlic knots. Even though it's usually standing room only the service is friendly.

Within these walls you will find a clean and well maintained establishment.
On 8)18)23. I was extremely impressed with a warm welcome by all staff members accompanied with smiles.
Mr. MIKE, is the boss. This fella is professional, kind and proactive. He expedites your specific order to meet your needs. For example, how you want you pizza heated and which toppings you prefer as well as maybe you will enjoy extra layer of cheese. In that regard, Mr. Mike actively listens to you and proceeds to delegate the order.
Now we should also give praise and appreciation to Eddie. This gentleman is the Pizza Preparer. So he knows all of the precise ingredients and when arranged, mixed and prepared methodically together the outcome is quite great.
So the remaining diligent workers I associate as the (((3 A's))) are, Arnold, Alex and Alfonso. It is because of these folks that the complete functionality is smooth sailing and Flawless.
For the first time ever I ordered my food as warm, not piping hot 🔥. I enjoyed thoroughly not burning the roof of my mouth on scalding cheese.
Kindly show your support and grab a slice on the go or stay for a while.
I'm certain you'll not regret it.

I grew up on eating Lucia’s pizza and still nothing beats their pizza. Perfect amount of cheese to sauce ratio.
