I've been eating Hong Kong style/Cantonese Dim Sum since the 1970's. I've sampled Dim Sum in New York's ChinaTown; Flushing; Las Vegas; Foxwoods Casino and San Francisco...Hands Down, Good Fortune is THE BEST out of all of them!!! The freshest food; The friendliest/Stellar Servers and beautiful new decor. I love it here. Tell them, MR. BIG RED/Dàhóng xiānshēng/大紅先生 sent you. Enjoy....

When I was living in New York I was often reluctant to visit this place for good reasons today I was told the place was renovated and the food is good , so I paid a visit and turned out quite happy about my experience, worth mentioning is if you walk up to the specialty counter ( where they do the 腸粉牛什之類小食) ,you could get a decent size mix of beef trips ,pork skin for a mere $5.50 which is a steal .And while most dim sums seem quite nice and reasonable in prices , I had the BEST beef chow fun ( 乾炒牛河 ) I have had in months , the noodle was done right and not greasy at all . And BTW, this is the only place I have known where the BBQ meat person would unabashedly grab the veggie ( to go with the chopped meat rice platters ) with his gloved hand instead of using a tong , it simply looked gross , NO , I did not see him during this visit 😁😁. I am not making this sxcxv up.

First time I am at this location under this name. This was formerly East Buffet on Kissena as I knew of it. Haven't been here in YEARS. It was a family reunion dinner. The food was for the most part typical family style and quite yummy. As I haven't been to one of these dinners in YEARS, I did enjoy seeing old favorites again. As we were a party of 13 of 17, 4 were no shows, last minute cancelation, we had a private room. There was another private room off to the right of us and they were LOUD. Annoyingly loud. I wanted to close our door just to shut out their noises 😒.

Recommended by a friend and we came here for dimsum on a Saturday noon. The place is huge and very spacious for the moving carts and for people walking. They have side table displaying their hot food and some desserts. I love the mushrooms dish because I love mushrooms in general. The veggies are also good, they cooked the veggies in front of you while waiting. The food is fresh and so good. They do have so many varieties of food in the carts as well as on the side table. Will most likely go back again to try other foods.

Service was prompt and accommodating! They also had a parking lot for parking so that was very convenient! We needed a table of 8 and they helped us get spots at a big table right away. We wanted a room for ourselves but they were all occupied. We settled for a smaller table that sat 8 people nice and cozy! The waiters catered to our needs well and also engaged us. The food was great but not the best Chinese food I tried. Maybe because it was late around 7-8pm? There were some weird dishes with fish that I didn't quite enjoyed. The lobster lomein was pretty nice though. The quality of the food was the reason for 4 star.
