Effortlessly charming and having wine for days, this spot had an upscale feel with casual salon vibes. The food felt familiar, while still pushing the envelope. Definitely spent a penny and a half, and could see us cough up a pretty penny if we wanted prime cut steaks and drink for date night. Not a big space, but accommodated our party of about 10 very well. Hard to pull off something the least bit casual while still making you feel at home.

Tavern 157 a beautiful tavern conveniently located in Flushing with a Manhattan vibe full of exposed brick wall with a tree inside, bottles hanging down from the bar, a deer ornament smack in the middle, and a library type aisle full of mysteries. Perfect for the holiday seasons. This is the place to bring your date without going all the way to the city. Cocktails are excellently crafted with beautiful names that describes what it taste. Delicious small bites allows you to chat while sipping on that cocktail. Made to order entrees and desserts fill your palate wonderfully and comfortably. An excellent selection of different drinks will make you want more so make sure to have an Uber ready.

Phenomenal restaurant. Very attractive, very gatsby . Happy hour is from from 5pm-7pm during the week. The French fries were so good , ate too many . The Lobster Squid Inc fettuccine was unforgettable. Salmon was great too . Desert was nice and small but sweet and to the point . Highly recommend. Drinks are super cool as well .

This restaurant stands out among the rest for its creative and tantalizing peach cocktails. they have skillfully crafted a cocktail, I just randomly choose two from the cocktail menu, both were soooo good, the peach cocktail is refreshing the looks too cute to break the bubble on top, the yuzu cocktail look so elegant it’s one of the best cocktails I have ever had. The foods are just AMAZING! everything I ordered nothing goes wrong they all gooooood even the side dish mashed potato can satisfy me, without any gravy the truffle flavor is the best for mashed potato. Overall, I enjoyed my dinner in Tavern 157.

Always hear good words about this restaurant, finally got the chance to be here. the environment is good, dating vibe. I had the most luxurious mashed potatoes with truffle flavor which for me it's the best of the best mashed potatoes, that’s so crazy…it just so damn gooooood, many dishes come with truffle mashed potatoes but I still order a side dish of it without any gravy it’s already the best mashed potatoes I have ever got. so far all the dishes I ordered are all good. I’m HAPPY NOW

The cocktails were very fancy but didn't taste that good. The sea urchin and oyster with salmon roe was amazing, the oysters were fresh and had no fishy taste. The sea urchin with foie gras was the best dish in my opinion and I highly recommend it. Overall, I would definitely come back to this restaurant for the service, atmosphere and taste!

This place has one of the coolest decor I've seen. By the side of the restaurant are bookshelves where it looks like you are in a picture frame. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to sit there because there was a private event they were setting up for but they did let us take pictures which was very nice of them. The food here was also very good. The bone marrow and toast reminded me of the filipino dish salpicao. The glaze with the duck was so good and went so well with everything. The escargot was also a flavor explosion. I will definitely come back one day to try other things on the menu and hopefully when there's no private event that can get in the way.
