I was a bit scared of trying out this place based on the not so great reviews, but my friend who lives in the neighborhood reassured me that the dim sum was good. We arrived around 11:30am on a Sunday, and the place was packed. We got a number and waited, and thankfully, the wait was not too long. This place is pretty large, and we got a table in the middle, which was great since all of the ladies with the carts passed us first, and we were able to get the food quickly. They have all of the usual dim sum options. We really liked the shrimp dumplings, the chicken feet were tender and flavourful. One of my favorites was the eggplant, it was so flavorful and delicious. The service was as you would expect for such a huge crowd. We ate quite a bit and the prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely return and would probably try to get there earlier to avoid the wait.

They have good food for afternoon tea and they have the best Peking duck here. Delicious food.

Best dim sum ever. Got shrimp dumpling, steamed ribs, beef short rib, watercress, chicken feet, radish cake. Not only tasted great but also got big portion for dim sum. The place was clean, service was fast, unlimited tea. They have “no service fee and no tips” policy. And seems like parking is free for 2 hours. Best dim sum place ever.

We ate at East Bistro, the first floor of East Buffet (unclear if it's a completely different restaurant?).
We enjoyed most of the dishes! We might be switching to this for our family dinners...
Pro tip - DON'T use the garage. There's a required $5 "tip" for the "free" restaurant parking with an extra $5 fee for larger vehicles.

A flushing classic restaurant, Dim Sum upstairs, sit down Cantonese upstairs, Hong Kong style BBQ to go
This restaurant has been here for decades and was here long before Flushing became what it is today. The top floor has great homemade Dim Sum with a huge variety of different dishes. There is no shortage of Dim Sum carts with everything from the classic shu mai and har gao to the lesser known liu sha bao. The Hong Kong style BBQ meats are also available to order during Dim Sum hours.
The lower floor contains a Cantonese style restaurant with live tanks. 9 times out of 10 it is excellent, they do have their off days when different chefs are on the clock but overall it’s very good and a frequent stop of ours. Live tanks are in the back containing crabs, lobster, fish, etc. You can order the BBQ dishes here as well as long as the items are still available.
Hong Kong Style BBQ meats are hung in the window and can be ordered to go. They have all the classics from soy sauce chicken, honey roasted duck, BBQ pork ribs, etc.

Good deal for dim sum for lunch time during the weekdays and weekend. Restaurant was packed with people and we waited a bit before getting a table. Getting a chance to enjoy this tradition while watching the push carts full of Cantonese delicacies to be enjoyed with your choice of hot tea until was a pleasant experience.

Free 1hr parking for spending more than $30
No tips!
We spent $41 for two and we are stuffed.
Delicious dim sum.
Only down side is the noise level as we came during peak hours on a Sunday.

Enjoyed my dining experience. We are frequent regulars here. If you go when it first opens 10/15 minute wait. If you go later it will be closer to 30/40min. Food is always hot and fresh with a large selection. Depending on where you sit will depend on the level of service. Usually I have no problems but once i was profiled and not allowed to pay at the counter after receiving the receipt from the waitress. She insisted on tips in cash and was very pushy. Usually this is not the case. Hopefully it’s a one time thing.
