Major transportation hub alert! Bring the terminus of the IRT#7 Line is a definite positive for this busy station. Situated just blocks from the LIRR, and smack dab in the middle of the Flushing Shopping District, the Main Street Station is just an all-time necessity for any working class neighborhood. Between students, workers, shoppers, and just average folks trying to get along in this fast-paced city, stations like these are a constant reminder of the good that comes with city life. It serves its purpose. Nothing more, nothing less.

Be careful walking up and down stairs to subway because perps May slip their fingers in your bag/pockets/etc. brace yourself for the clouds of second hand smoke when you emerge onto sidewalk because there is a high proportion of smokers in the community who linger at the entrances or are ahead of you on the steps to sidewalk and light their cigs before they reach topside.

Getting to Main Street Flushing train station is a breeze by car and bus. The trains run express in the morning Rush hours and there is always a train pulling in and out so there's no wait time at all. The station is super clean and well lit.

Main Street subway station is always busy and with subway smell . The ticket machines are so convenient for people. No complain. Just convenient

This is my favorite line. The station is convenient and easily accessible. Straight through to Times Square or World Trade. Stops at Grand Central for other areas. Make sure you take the express for this. There's a diamond shape around the seven for express and a circle for the local.

It is the end of the line on the number 7 subway which means that if you are headed towards Manhattan you may always have a seat if you desire one. Since the trip is overland it is a more pleasant trip. It is one of the better trips on our transit system. I consider it a safe trip.
