Khyber Indian Restaurant

I love this place. It was one of the places that showed me back in my omni days that there were vegetarian meals so delicious that you wouldn't miss meat. Before I went vegan I'd usually get veggie combo platter with lemon rice, naan, chickpeas and palak paneer. Sometimes I'd try another vegetable option, and they were always wonderful. Even things that sound boring like green peppers or cauliflower are extremely delicious here. I did try their chicken and lamb, they were good, but I still usually stuck with the veggie combo because it was the cheapest and just as delicious, if not more delicious than the meat. Their dishes aren't really spicy in my opinion, but that was never an issue for me because everything is so nicely seasoned. In fact, I've never been less than pleased with any dish I've tried here. Since going vegan I don't feel like my options here have become that limited, vegan items aren't marked but the staff is very kind and helpful if you have questions. The paneer isn't even in the spinach by default, they always ask if you'd like it. I'd like if they added tofu as a vegan option in place of the paneer, but their food is so delicious that I really can't complain.
