Signature Chop House

Had dinner at signature chop house tonight. No wait server's we're ready to greet me and had my appetizers on the table before we ordered dinner. Every thing was delicious and she promptly removed any finished dishes and refilled drinks regularly before they were finished. The appetizers were out of this world. Great experience this evening.

The food was delicious after it was cooked to my preference. Unfortunately when I was ask how my steak was by a gentleman (not my server) and I responded with my honest opinion.( it was barely rare and I requested medium ) He responded with that's how they cook their steaks because it's grass-fed beef. He also mentioned that this establishment wasn't outback. I whole heartedly agree. That's why we chose to spend $200 on a meal for date night. I have honestly never sent food back until this dish. The food was good when it was cooked appropriately. I would feel differently if I had ordered the chefs preference or choice. Won't be back.

I came here with my husband and our friend for our wedding anniversary dinner in early September 2021. The cocktails were absolutely fabulous and so were the two appetizers we had, calamari casino and artichoke dip. All of the entrées tasted absolutely wonderful. The service was equally wonderful. Sadly, I had to take three stars after I found a small piece of plastic that is pictured below in the dauphinois. I let our server know and she was truly sorry. She then went back to inform the kitchen. It was at this point I expected someone from the back to come out. It never happened. When the server cleared the table and took it back I again ask her to make sure she let the manager know about what was found. She returned shortly there after and let me know that he was "sorry. It may have happened during prep." I feel that as the manager he probably should have come out to apologize. I had no expectation of anything free. However, when dinner for 3 is nearly $200 before tip, I don't think a personal apology is too much to ask. Great job from the server and chef. Not so much a fan of the management team.

This place is beautiful and the food was pretty good but the drinks could be better. This was our 1st time there and I was upset to see that the prices in the restaurant were quit a bit higher than the menu on their website. I’m not sure when they raised their prices but they need to update it on their website. A chicken meal on website showed $24 and there it was $32, salmon was $26 and $34 there and steak was ridiculous for 6 oz filet $36 but $48.99 there. Very disappointed that things were so much different when we arrived there. We spent more than expected and decided not to get steak due to the high price. Really went there for the steak. Again a beautiful place but the prices were very high.

Last night was our first time at Signature Chop House, unfortunately it will also probably be our last. The service was wonderful, the place is beautiful, the food was bad. For the price I was so excited and looking forward to some really great fine dining. We ordered the artichoke dip with spinach to start, it was ok, but the oil was separating from the cream sauce, the crostini’s it was served with were scant, and it wasn’t very flavorful. For dinner I had the Scottish Salmon with lemon dill cream sauce and my husband got the chicken parmigiana. My salmon was fine, the lemon dill sauce had no dill to be found and had odd chunks in the bottom and didn’t taste good at all. My husbands chicken was fine but the pasta was completely inedible; the herb cream sauce on it tasted like wallpaper paste; bland, grainy, and tasteless. When I tried a bite I couldn’t even swallow it. I’m so disappointed, we had high hopes but unless were coming just for the salad (which was great) then we won’t be back. It’s a shame too because the staff was wonderful. SCH, please step up the game in your kitchen to match pace with your service staff!!
