Stopped for a takeout on Saturday evening (11th Feb 2016). The shop was absolutely rammed but the food was well worth the wait. The fish and chips are cooked in beef dripping, just like the fish and chips from where I come from (The Black Country) and these were equally delicious and the best fish and chips I've eaten from North of the Border! Will definitely be calling in again on our next visit :)

Brilliant fish chip shop/diner great place good service lovely place, the fish they serve its locally caught and they even say which boat it was on and also a similar story about the potatoes they use,all great customer care,see why its voted best chippy in Scotland i will be going back soon

Have visited fochabers fish bar a number of times and everytime the fish has been cooked beautifully. Really nice crispy batter with homemade tartar sauce.

Visited around 6.30 on Saturday and it was absolutely packed out the door. The ordering process was very quick and efficient and all the food is cooked fresh once you place your order. The wait was not too long, roughly about half an hour but it was well worth it. The Fish and Scampi Suppers were well worth the wait 10 out of 10. Thank you all at the Fochabers Chippie for your service and our delicious Suppers.

A very nice fish and chip shop. Haddock was very nice and cooked very well. Chips were also very good. They give free tartar sauce.

I don't think I've had a better fish supper.... Just amazing. Fish was cooked perfectly, melt in you mouth stuff, batter was perfectly crispy and not too thick and the chips were superb, I will be back soon and I'll be telling everyone about it. 😋👍

Freshly cooked fish and chips, only had to wait 5 mins this evening. Social distancing measures in place and staff were very friendly and efficient. The establishment was spotless as usual. Food was delicious, highly recommended.

Nice chippy. Food cooked to order rather than it sitting around. they make their own tartar sauce which you can have in your support in a wee tub. Nice. Easy to park outside.

The fish and chips were delicious, fresh fish, crispy light batter and great chips. Nice touch with the lemon wedge and pot of tartare sauce. Good service and friendly staff. I highly recommend and will certainly be visiting again😋
