We have been ordering from Gurkha Palace for the last few years and they make the best vegetarian (and vegan options on request) food. Tonight, there was an issue with some of the food, which I can't recall ever happening before in all the times we have ordered from them - but, their service is so exceptional, we called up and explained, they were gracious and sent everything we ordered out fresh to us again. And it was absolutely on point. Exceptional food and service from good people who genuinely care about their cuisine and customers. Highly recommended.
I have "never" had a dull meal or takeaway from Gurkha Palace the 5-6 times I have either eaten in or ordered takeaway. Fantastic food, great service, friendly staff, affordable prices either eating in or when ordering takeaway. I always recommend to friends and family who are in the area. Will continue to visit with no second thoughts whatsoever, thoroughly advisable to book a table to avoid disappointment as it does get busy......
My partner and I had a wonderful meal here this evening - the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. A calm yet warm atmosphere where we could chat and eat to our heart's content - considering it was a Thursday evening, we were surprised by how popular it was. Clearly credit to the staff and the food.
Once we had ordered, our meal didn't take long to arrive but you could tell it had been freshly prepared.
Sadly, we don't live locally but if we ever visit Folkestone again I will definitely be returning! Highky recommend. Thank you.
We met with friends who booked the restaurant and wow what an amazing place. The owner was so welcoming and the smell of the food when you walk in was incredible. We all went for the set menu which was a good selection and we made a choice. The food was faultless and every dish was absolute perfection accompanied with excellent service. This place is an absolute must and we will be going back thank you for a lovely evening.

The staff here are lovely and friendly. The food is amazing with a broad range to suit everyone and great quality. Great for both regular meals and family events. Thoroughly recommend. Also gluten free friendly.

Delicious, freshly prepared food with lots of choice on the menu. Staff were lovely and friendly, we took our two daughters and the staff made us all feel very welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and our meal, will definitely be returning!

The Gurkha Palace never fail to impress me! I’ve been eating at the Gurkha Palace since a young child and I’ve never left feeling dissatisfied - they’re always very consistent. Amazing management and amazing food, what else could you ask for?
I have eaten here 2 times and everytime it is spot on. Love the food always great and the prices are great too. Highly recommend 👍
