Beano's Vegetarian Cafe Bar

Finally made it here, and wish I'd done so sooner! Veggie and Vegan, went with my meatie mum and we both loved every bite of our meals. Reasonably priced, super friendly staff and a really cosy, family feel to the place. They have a kids menu, nut and gluten allergies are catered for, and alcoholic beverages are available. Much is homemade, including ALL their bread, mayo hummus, guacamole etc. Genuinely so impressed! Will be back!!

Friendly staff (a lovely lady dealt with us), great food and a good variety of options. I had the Small Veggie Breakfast which is pictured here. Great portion size and excellent value for what is labelled as small. Their homemade bread was lovely toasted and definitely was the standout of the breakfast. Lots of cakes on offer too

The bread is the star of the show on the breakfast menu, and carries the menu alone on itself. All meals are prepared fresh and are healthy. Even the vegan sausage was decent enough. The coffee can improve. The carrot cake was too dense for me but it depends on individual taste.The service is very good and the place has a good clean vibe.

The staff were friendly, my girlfriend's food was nice but mine left something to be desired. I would definitely go again. Just think I got bad luck of the draw. I ordered the burger wrap and to be honest it had little to no flavour at all. The grilled sandwich was nice, the nachos were nicer! And the drinks selection was good too. A really good selection of food for veggys and vegans alike. Cakes look really good I've only had one but it was yum! All in all seems a great place... I was just unfortunate with a rather bland and dull affair.

I kept managing to miss the opening hours but finally managed to make it there today! Started with the vegan nachos which were big enough for 2/3 people to share if you're having a main after. They were so so delicious I couldn't even believe they were so nice. I am a vegan but was there with my non vegan friend and they also could not believe how tasty the food was. We then both had the vegan Thai green curry. It's spicy, because there are chillies on top but not spicy if you don't eat the chillies. This was also delightful! Big portions as well and all of it reasonably priced. The staff and atmosphere were both lovely and it was all very clean and comfortable. There are also cakes for sale which look and sound delightful but we were far too stuffed to carry on. Next time though!!
