Went to Shayda's for a family meal yesterday and I was very impressed. Food is incredibly tasty and beautifully presented.The family who run the restaurant are really friendly and attentive. making us all feel really welcome. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I popped in without a booking and they kindly squeezed us in. We love Turkish food and often visit them in Haringgay London. However this was exceptional. the service and friendly welcome/service was a breath of fresh air. They couldn't have been more attentive. The food was full of flavour, loving made and memorable for the right reasons.. what a lovely family business a credit to Folkestone

First visit for my birthday with my daughters and two grandson's. Fantastic meal and excellent service from some lovely people. The owner came over to greet us and the lovely daughter who was our waitress for the evening went out of her way to make us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you guys for a very pleasant evening 😊

Mixed Meze was amazing, down to the presentation. Waitress was always helpful and kind. So many small touches that made it a great stop - lemon slices in your drink, the bathrooms are pristine, the music being quiet but still creating a nice ambiance. 10/10, amazing restaurant. If I lived in this area, this would be my go-to food place.

Nice Turkish restaurant in Folkestone! The Lamb ribs were extremely tasty. Most importantly was the warm welcoming from the waitress. Thank you for the wonderful lunch:)

I attended a birthday party here for my Grandson. We began with a lamb platter starter with Turkish bread. Very nice. Our mains was a large platter with lamb chops, ribs,kebabs, chicken wings, rice etc. It was absolutely delicious, I don't normally try foreign cuisines, but I have to say I really enjoyed this meal and the family event of course.

The Best Turkish restaurant in Folkestone! The Special platter was extremely tasty. But the most importantly was the welcome from the restaurant owner and his daughter who is the waitress there. Felt that we were greated by close relatives. Thank you for the wonderful New years eve dinner:)

This restaurant caught us by surprise. Cooked to perfection, and the service was top notch. Dishes are prepared to exceed your expectation! We went for lunch by chance and was blown away by the taste that we had to book for dinner on the same day to try different menu, which were also great. I think we will visit folkestone just for the sake of their food and their hospitality. Sad I cannot give 10 stars.
