Massimo's is our go to ice cream parlour in the area. All the gelato flavours (and sorbets) that I have tried have been delicious. Very Friendly and helpful staff as well. Flavours that I recommend are the Black Cherry Ripple Gelato, the Pistachio Gelato and the Orange and Carrot Sorbet. The wafer is a nice touch too. Such a hidden gem and well worth a visit!

Best ice cream around, hands-down! Great creatives in the kitchen handmaking the ice cream and experimenting with new flavours as well as the favourites. Fab range of vegan ice cream and sorbet too - the vegan hazelnut is to die for!

It is by far the best ice cream I have had and because of this myself and my partner will go put solely to get it. If you are ever in Folkestone you have to stop in and get yourself an ice cream from here and be ready for your life to change and other ice cream to pale by comparison!

Maybe some of the best gelato you’ll find outside of Italy! So authentic and fresh and at an amazing price. Many delicious flavours too! I go out of my way in the day to come for a scoop. 🍦

We’ve been visiting the team at Massimo’s for years. We’ve been all around the world and the quality of the Ice Cream here is absolutely equal to its Italian home.
This is true Italian Ice Cream and they owners go to great length to source elements of the product from Italy.
As a family we are so sad when they close waiting patiently for the time they re-open (usually around Easter). When they close at the end of the season, we stock up for our Christmas helping!
Very friendly team, great value for money and most importantly absolutely amazing Ice cream.
Not just the best in Folkestone but certainly one of the best in the whole of the South East.

Lovely little ice cream shop with full of delicious flavours. My personal favourite is chocolate ( has that bittersweet taste, and the texture is amazingly thick and stretchy. Must try are coconut, pistachio, mascapone and Nutella too. All handmade in their shop and with real fruits in their sorbets. They do takeaway containers so you can freeze and have them all year round.

Super delicious gelato, very good quality. The pistachio one tastes rich and nutty, and this lemon curd crunch flavour was really lemony. Overall the texture was smooth and very soft. I had been missing Italian gelato for so long and I could taste it finally in this town!!
